I need a feature that will allow a subscriber to join an existing call. It appears that I need to configure Call Barge. Can anyone tell me when this was added to Call Manager? Any suggestions for configuring it?
Going back to the first post, I have also observed this phenomena. I typically verify that the SELF object has the 'Associated External Mailbox' permission set. The first part of this article describes what to check:

I think this is by design - ie - Exchange won't do this out of the box. I'm not aware of a solution for it.
Have you tried message tracking?
Do you ever get a non-delivery report?
I'm using Outlook 2000.
Log in as the user who's calendar events you want to move and navigate to their calendar. Choose View > Current View > By Category.
Select all and drag to a target folder, such as one in a pst file.
marcs41 is correct - if you want to transfer events to another...
I'd like to find out where the settings for the Diagnostics Logging tab on the Exchange server properties in ESM are stored. I've browsed through AD and the registry and don't see anything obvious.
We have several Exchange admins, and I'd like to script something that will detect changes to...
Have you tried the Linux agent using Linux bianary compatibility?
There are some people who've reported succes with this method. You may want to try you favorite search engine, if you can't find anything here.
4. Check ther version number to determine which rollup you have. Don't use the March 2004 rollup, version 6556. Your best bet is the July 2004 version, build 6603.
What's wrong with 6556? Is there a FAQ or kb article I've missed?
You can create a second virtual web server on your Exchange server that points to the SMTP domain of the users. It's been a while since I've done this. Let me know if you'd like detailed instructions.
If you're using a front-end/back-end architecture, you should do so on both.
I have an issue similar to this:

We have recently added a second library. All of the jobs are targeted to the default drive pool: All Drives (MediaServerName).
What I have found, though, is that once a job starts...
1. Create a recipient policy on your Exchange server for @mydomain.com
2. Have the e-mail for mydomain.com relayed to your Exchange server by:
A. Changing the mydomain.com mx record to point to your exchange server
B. Having your current ISP relay e-mail (that they are already receiving) to your...
cw2k,
I've never had reason to change the single instance setting and must admit that I'm unfamiliar with it.
I work in a 24x7 operation and frequently perform backups with active Outlook users. Backups do place a load on the server, but it's not usually noticable to users.
The only thing...
1. NIC/Switch problems on the Exchange server - run the latest firmware (if applicable) and driver on the NIC. Hard-code the speed on the switch port and the NIC to 100/Full - this has fixed many of my problems (although they weren't Exchange)
2. look at increasing the agent timeout - I'm not...
Or could I simply just create new mailboxes for each user?
It's not this simple.
Would I be able to modify the AD at site2 so that all user mailboxes point to the standy server?
Not exactly. You should look at the following AD option...
Surprising as that is, having the Owner role does not give you sufficient priviliges to 'Send As'.
In Exchange System Manager, you need to navigate to the 'Folders' folder that appears in your Exchange organization's folder. Then, find the folder in question, right-click it, and select...
In 9.1, under Tools > Options, there is a Job Logs section where one can configure the level of detail for the Job logs. This feature was in 8.6, also, so I'm confidant you'd have it in 9.0. Have you tried turning the level of logging up?
I suspect that you'll find that you have a corrupt...
There's this in the kb:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;281383&Product=exch2k
If you can find the progress log mentioned in the article, it may help to post it here.
How does the application get started?
If it's a service, you may be able to specify a domain account for it to run as. Scheduled Tasks can also be assigned a domain account.
