Here's HOW:
1)Install Windows NT SERVER 4.00 on the new server
2)Promote this server to be (PDC) for your domain
3)upgrade it to Win2k
3)install exchange 2000 on the new server with ADC
4)if you wish you could move all mailboxes from old server to the new one using Exchange System Manager.

1) You can install Exchange 2000 in the DC (joining existing Exchange org, and in the same administrative group as old Exchnage), then move all mailboxes to this server using "Active Directory Users & Computers".
2) You have to create your connectors on the new server, replicate...
please try uncheck "Automatically update e-mail addresses based on recipient policy" check box in E-mail addresses page of desired User Account properties.
then set new SMTP address and set it as Primary, i tried this method before and it works

i have a very wired problem with front-page, after installing Office 2000 Standard and try to start frontpage it just start up and then close itself without any error msg or blue screen crashes.

ICS "Internet Connection Sharing" works on Win98 SE and later, works on PC with Modem and NIC installed.
1)this PC acts as a router between your internal Network and the Internet
2)the Modem gets its IP address from your ISP and the NIC card always takes IP...
there're some points to consider,
1) ICS designed for small networks, it dosent support DHCP, DNS servers and cant be set for multi segaments networks.
2) NAT is more professional, supports DHCP, DNS , IP filtering and ip Mapping

you cant change the DC name, but if you wish you have to uninstall AD and demote it as Member Server then change its name then back it DC again.

it's so smiple, at first your server should have a partion formatted NTFS. Then you could run command: dcpromo to make it a DC (Domain controller).

NSLOOKUP www.microsoft.com (this called a HostName), and DNS reslove it to an IP address. While names like ugccom1 That you have used called "NetBIOS Names" and WINS reslove them into IP address.

Look,
1) your DNS should have Zone called "union.co.ae" and a Reverse Zone named with the IP address range you use for your domain.
2) you have to find a record in your Zone records in DNS that list your DC with it's IP address and mark it as a Host record(A), or something (SRV)...

i tried this before, but it was a long way of troubles and diffcults. i have to create new forms, reports.
althought VB coding is the same as VBA, but the way it controls the data (datacontrol) and how to make reports in it is a whole different thing... anyway, i wish you good luck...
