Thank you for the 2nd and 3rd opinions. From reading former posts just wanted to make sure. Backups are a must and a no brainer absolutely. Any comments about the monitor feature on basic call center wheather it will work for incoming and outbound calls? Just may have to trust that the...
Here is my situation. I recently upgraded an Mics with NA 4.0 non XC to NA 6.1 non XC with the new release 2 sleeve. All went well. I am trying to get the basic call center for CP 150 monitor to work. Right now at 6.1 I can only monitor a call that comes inbound to the skillset from the...
Have a customer using a call pilot 150 for voicemail. With the cost in mind they may want to go with basic call center for now, and if they expand move to enhanced call center later.
My question is if they go with the basic first, can I put enhanced on later if need be on that callpilot...
There was something called a DSP patch. I used it once for a callpilot 100 that had the same problem. I read in a release form one time that the callpilot with pots lines was prone to this happening. The system that this happened to was on pots broken out from a T1. The patch took a couple...
On the target lines if you are receiving 6 digit DNIS from the carrier you need to build the last 6 digits of the number under the public received number column next to the particular target line. Also just to make sure the numbers are coming into the system you can open up BCM monitor, and go...
Strange head scratcher. Anyway just thinking out loud here. Sounds like it is playing a default greeting there somewhere in your table even though recordings seem there. Have you checked feature 982 operator settings. Should be answer lines Y, Business open, operator available. What happens...
Thats what I was thinking, why I asked for a second opinion. Thanks for the response. I was also thinking maybe reuploading the keycodes to the current box. Never have done it, but what do you think would happen if I attempted that. Only becasuse it seems as though the box somehow sees them...
Have a BCM50 2.0 keycoded with 4 analog stations on main cabinet. System is patched all the way and has been in service a couple of years. I am using 1 of the analog stations to go to the page equipment. All four analog stations have extremely bad static and hum on them. So in turn when paging...
Yes that is correct. It depends on the software version. Your pri would be 1 to 24 and the Caller ID card would start at 025 or 031 depending on the software. You can tell that by scrolling through the lines when in programming. Hope that helps good luck.

just thinking you may actually be able to get away with a CICS. Most CICS can handle up to 8 phone lines, and up to 16 extensions up to 24 with the station expander card. That acutally might be a cheaper way to go in your case than the MICS. Especially if it is short term. You will still...
I am assuming you are going to PRI? The new DTI card should go on the right hand slot. The spare CID should go on the left hand side slot. Your fiber card should be just fine where it is. Just a NOTE: If you are going to PRI you will need a PRI enabler keycode, and also you will need a...
Wow, you ain't kidding about old. Surprised that thing still holds the programming after a power outage. Have to say that is what made the nortels awesome they just run. Any way why don't you just swap out the old 8x24 for a MICS. You can still use the same phones you would just have to...
Sure why not. you can backfill open line ports if the numbers that are already there are dead or disconnected. Once you do the the cross connects, just go into the programming and set those lines back into the proper pool for outdial purposes. Also remember to set the ringing on those lines...
If you are using option 3 for the directory it is a self recorded directory correct? You really should not have to do that. The company directory can be accessed through the # key. When the caller presses pound they can spell the first or last name of the person, then it directs them to that...
Just to add on. I had two 50's recently that have had this happen near the end of the business day. I was not able to get to site, so the system ran in the constant reboot stage overnight. In both cases the phone systems righted themselves overnight, with no ill effects. Don't know extactly...
It funny you word it that way EX. I was far from home when this happened. Like you said I had nothing to lose with a fresh backup in hand. Like I stated above it worked, maybe I got lucky, but to anyone else that is in this situation if it looks like a drive replacement it is worth a shot...
I have had this happen with several 50's. Matter of fact it is almost chronic in my opinion. I thought it was always a bad hard drive or just dead. I just had this happen to me recently and was so mad that I tried a couple of different things to bring it back. Tried multiple reboots...
Have a user that is on a BCM50 rls 6. System has fax messaging. This particular mailbox must have got spam faxes to it. This mailbox does not use unified messaging. How do I delete those faxes through the phone so they don't clutter the mailbox.?
Man does this new way suck!!! Great job avaya. Anyhow here is my problem. Customer ran out of the 30 day trial softphone worked great. License ran out no more phone. Aquired the new license as node locked. Entered what I thought was the proper mac address. According to the HWIDtool...
