Have a BCM50 2.0 keycoded with 4 analog stations on main cabinet. System is patched all the way and has been in service a couple of years. I am using 1 of the analog stations to go to the page equipment. All four analog stations have extremely bad static and hum on them. So in turn when paging is hooked up the static and hum is passed along to the paging equipment. Rebooted the phone system a couple of times, and static goes away for a little while, but does come back and gets gradually worse. When I go under the resouces the analog stations say they are not in service, but there is dial tone and static directly on the ports. Under resources disabling and renable has no effect. When I go through the telset programming those four analog ports state N/A next to the port ID, under status reads unequipped.
Anyone have any other ideas, has this happened to them.

My initial suggestion would be to use another hard disk with a current backup / Patches etc. If that fails, then you might have to try another unit.

Thats what I was thinking, why I asked for a second opinion. Thanks for the response. I was also thinking maybe reuploading the keycodes to the current box. Never have done it, but what do you think would happen if I attempted that. Only becasuse it seems as though the box somehow sees them as non exsisting.
I know on the internal stations they will give you dial tone even without the keycode they just won't let you dial anything etc.

Hello Kevin

It's rare for the Motherboard to fail, although it does happen. Try a new hard disk first and it doesn't do any harm without keycodes. You could even load in a default database and check for dial tone. Make sure you have a couple of good backups!.
