Yeah, then set the restaurant on fire and shoot yourself in the genitals.
Delete c:\program files (x86)\ncr\cmc\sitetopology.config and restart the command center service, log out of command center and back in.
There really is no end to the bad advice on the Internet, is there?

As this is a new install, the POS-PMS interface should be talking over TCP/IP. Either way, it doesn't sound like a communication problem to me, it sounds like either configuration or timing (like the check was closed). Try setting ALLOWCLOSEDPMSTENDERADJUSTMENT=TRUE in your aloha.ini in...
This could be an issue:
Apr 06, 05:32:46.983255, [4788], [WARNING], [AlohaNetInfo], "UnicastChannel::BroadcastMessage will use default gateway:192.168.16.100 for routing to host:192.168.16.100"
Your terminals, unless you want them to access another network (like the Internet or a wider WAN)...
You wouldn't want to enable that for every order entry access level. The staff could resend stuff all night and pocket tons of cash. You'd want to limit this to those with manager access only, as it's basically telling the kitchen/bar to make something without a (unique) chit.

Check these boxes:
maintenance\business\store\store settings\report printing\transaction chits\print void chit at remote printer
and
maintenance\business\store\store settings\report printing\transaction chits\print void chit when an item is voided.
Refresh and test.

If you're merging logs at the command line like that, you need to include the binary switch in the command:
copy /b trans1.log+trans2.log merged.log
I do that, then
..\grind.exe /fixlog merged.log
then
ren fixed.log trans.log
and that should do it most of the time, unless your source logs...
If you're using CFC/NAM, you can create an autodetect CC tender that has "Do not print vouchers" checked in maintenance\payments\tenders\ on the authorization tab. Call the tender CreditCard, set it up according to the doc for autodetecting credit cards, then at your daytime/nighttime cutoff...
Reprint and reprintq have the ability to reprint guest checks and checkouts, and can output to the screen or the default printer. I'm not sure you're going to be able to get it to output to a file or stdout (I'm guessing this is to be automated, not run by hand every day). Depending on what...
If they're Radiant/NCR branded customer displays, you've got either C500, C700, or C1200 depending on screen size. You'll need to install OrderPoint! (the ! is part of the name, believe it or not) on the BOH, then configure it with some flash animations. The RKS had implementation guides. You...
You can get around that by running "echo 0 >> %iberdir%\YYYYMMDD\deposit.txt" before the export command. That'll create a deposit file in that dated sub, but using two > makes it append to the end of one that already exists, so it's safe to include in your winhook (it won't overwrite one if it...
Got a couple questions.
Exactly what versions of 6.2 and 6.4 are you using?
QS or TS?
Do you check out and clock out the (dummy) employees, or do a drawer checkout?
If you could post the Aloha.ini from a store that's working and one that isn't (scrubbed for sensitive information, of course)...
If your terminals have servercapable=false, they won't update the local DATA folder from the fileserver. Mastercapable=true should force Iber to override servercapable=false, so you'll probably see both set to false on your non-master terminals. Change both to true and reboot (you can try this...
Usually DT=drive-thru. I'm going to assume that's the case, and from that, that you're running Aloha QS in a drive-thru environment that also has inside counter terminals. If that's not the case, fill in some of that and we'll try again.
Is the problem that the DT orders show up on the master...
