Nevermind - a little bit of time with wireshark and i find this:
Element Manager: Port 5989 TCP
BCM Webpage: HTTPS - Port 443 (duh!)
BCM Monitor: Port 60001 TCP
I've been playing around with this a bit and everything seems to work fine.
Hope this helps anyone else.
Not sure on this, but I would think that you might have a problem with the System ID being different... So you take the drive out of the "other" (system B) and you put it into "system A" but it may not boot because the systemID doesn't match.... which would also mess up your feature keys (bound...
The simple answer is yes:
F**266344 > userID is: 738662 > password is whatever you've set it to in the Element manager
To set password in element manager:
Connect, go to

Hi All,
Hopefully this is an easy question; which ports does the element manager use to connect to the BCM50? I want to use port forwarding to enable remote administration across the WAN.
Thanks
Make sure that all voice devices on this line have filters... I've seen it before when 1 device is missed and then the DSL noise gets through to some or all of the other voice devices even though they have filters...

So anyways for the receiptionist to enable the "real" night service (i.e. answer the...

Maybe I have the wrong idea, but with my customers I setup their router with port forwarding & a host name (dynamic DNS if they don't have a static IP)
i.e. Take the ip address of the CP (i normally set it to be .254 in whatever subnet... 192.168.1.254) and the port (web = 80) and forward it the...
