Voice activated recorder on DSL line

I have a voice activated recorder on my analog line. Ever since upgrading to dsl my recorder picks up to much noise from the dsl and won't shut off. I have run it thru various filters shiped with dsl service but still have the noise problem. Is there any upgraded filters out there, besides the ones that were shiped to me, that will reduce the noise?
 
Make sure that all voice devices on this line have filters... I've seen it before when 1 device is missed and then the DSL noise gets through to some or all of the other voice devices even though they have filters...

Check; Alarm panels, fax machines, emergency phones (PFP], modems etc...

Regarding "better" filters, we use to have some RJ-11 wall jacks that had filters built in, they were basically a demarc jack for small biz & resi and had filtered and un-filtered outputs.
 
I don't know if you have resolved this issue or not. If you havn't you should probably get your telco to install an external filter with a homerun to your modem. This is far superior to the plug in filters.
 
I just had my DSL installed yesterday and have the same problem. Never had it with Charter. I have filters on everything. Still it sounds like a 60cycle hum on the line.Did you ever get your problem to clear up.
 
I once had trouble with a user's rather old fashioned fax machine. Ended up cascading two filters which reduced it to a workable level.
