Hi guys, hope you can lend a hand on this one..

I've stumbled into a situation where i'm trying to re-program all settings into a system that was cleared after a power outage. 6x16 with Flash 2

They have manual night service that is controlled from DN21, but according to the receiptionist, she was able to push another button and have line03 ring directly to another phone (lets say DN27) and never be answered by the AA.

Has anyone else done this? or know how to do this??

That's a good one!
Do you believe her?
Is she blonde?

You could put line 3 and DN 27 in another ring group and activate it at the same time ... but another key.

What is the key labeled as on the set?

MTCW,

Not knowing which DR of 6/16 you are asking about, it might be "night" service for the usual, but "lunch" for DN27. Check with the user to see if the "one" button was in fact the "next" soft key when selecting services under F87.

The key is currently labeled "night service" (which enables line 3 to ring to 27 ONLY after it's been enabled) the key that enables the real night service is labeled "voice mail"... ahhg! soooo confused..

So anyways for the receiptionist to enable the "real" night service (i.e. answer the trunks after hours) she pushes the "voice mail" key and goes thru the rigamorole of; business open, answer trunks (Y)etc... (i'm not very experienced with night service modes.. sorry) So if someone could tell me what's involved with setting up a key to enable / disable a mode to allow line 3 to ring on whatever set.. It would be greatly appricated :)

MTC,

Look in the FAQ this forum. Excellent description of putting night services onto a single on/off button. No more F982 stuff. Sounds like the "voice mail" button is set up for F982 - Operator Status.
