I have a BCM and I wanted to change the HD, but the HD I want to use in the system is already used in another system. Its the same hardware and software.

Will this work or do I need to initialze the disk first?

Thx

Not sure on this, but I would think that you might have a problem with the System ID being different... So you take the drive out of the "other" (system B) and you put it into "system A" but it may not boot because the systemID doesn't match.... which would also mess up your feature keys (bound to the unique systemID)

The system ID comes from the MSC card. Where you may have a problem is id the softeare version is different. If you are using the same version, you should be ok. You just may have to reprogram it.
