I'm having a problem where Freehand MX quits immediately after I launch it. The following message appears: "The application Freehand MX has unexpectedly quit" Any ideas on how to fix this - maybe a reinstall?

I have an object with multiple strokes (attributes palette) - is it possible to copy these attributes to another object - I cant seem to be able to do this. Furthermore can I make a swatch/style of these attributes - so that I may apply this style to objects with ease. Thanks!

But what if you want to be able to edit master page elements which appear on document pages? (for example - changing the colour of a page number) They always seem to be locked. Do you just have to create multiple master pages for each variation of aforementioned elements?

Yeah, and pressing "F" allows you to cycle through the different viewing modes. Same commands apply in PShop.

Try embedding your image (links palette). Works fine for me, but I'm working in CS. Good luck

Sorry, I've worked it out. The file has to be an EPS if one wants to import a clipping path. Solved!

I've placed into Illustrator a tif which has a clipping path in it, however the image appears with the white background remaining. What am I doing wrong ? It is possible to import an image with a clipping path, isn't it? Thanks again!

So for a beginner who is unlikely to be buiding any sites with dynamic data, GoLive would be a fine app to learn for buliding sites? (By the way, I'm already familiar with the remainder of Adobe CS suite) Any other comments?

Further to my post above, the delays only seem to occur when the text on paths are visible onscreen. When I'm looking elsewhere on my file, everything seems to run as normal.

I'm having this problem - Illy take about 3-4 secs to screen refresh whenever I do something. I don't having any placed images, complex shape etc. - just a few circles. This delay occurs when I do anything - move the screen (hand tool) select, deselect, change text, change colours etc. etc...

For example, is it possible to have multiple lines of text following the curve of a single circle, and to be able to adjust the leading between lines - as opposed to having multiple lines (one for each line of text) and having to manually adjust the leading be eye)
