Hi Terry, some new info/possible reason for
eternal initialization at power up 340/350/360:
-----------------------------------------------
The printer is nearly out if ink (less than one cube in one or more colors). Fill all color bins to add pressure in feeding cubes to melting. - Run myself...
Why Phaser initialization takes forever? faq723-4627
- it does not get ink for melting (one bin almost empty and possibly the last bit jammed), fill up
- waiting for auxiliary feed paper
(these both cause Initialization forever and no error messages because they are no errors...)
Most probably the printer is (almost) out of ink ja the last piece is jammed in one bin. Fill all bins - I did, it helped.
If you buy a new printer, and even though there is lot of ink, and same happens, it may wait for paper in aux feeder
(this happened to me too with another printer).

You have to feed paper in manual feeder (several, one at a time). Your machine is configured to use (recycled) paper from manual feeder instead of (letterhead) from drawer. When up and running, you can change this from menu.

Lamp's normal operation in idle is to flash at around 30 Hz. When warming light pulses get longer. When too hot, drum fan will start to operate with similar pattern. This way machine controls drum temperature.
If drum heater is not heating enough (broke e.a.), you get error 15,004.45

Hi,
I have 340 and 360 troubleshooting manuals in .zip format.
I can send them to you in email; please send enquiry to ari_014@hotmail.com (get's frequently overloaded by spam, sorry).
UNFORTUNATELY, troubleshooting frequently refers to other sections in service manual set I do not have. There...
Hi Mike,
Only way I know: you have to open left side of printer, then manually turn stepper motor. You should be able to rotate whole system a full cycle. If stuck, lubricate joints and check there is nothing loose to prevent action (ink debris?). You may turn the stepper in both directions...
Code means: No transitions are observed of the drum maintenance cam sensor. The sensor may be bad or the drum maintenance cam may be jammed.
Hint: Please check, is there accumulated paper dust in joints and bearings (you have printed over 20 000 pages so far). Dust dries things and they jam...
I have similar problem with 350. In my investigations I've got so far:
- the machine does not met ink at all even though trays are full. Nothing goes to reservoirs.
- found out someone has tilted this machine on side when hot (frosen red wax on inside panel)
Now I have 2 guesses:
1) Because...
If still relevant, codes mean:
4013: During init, unable to engage process motor
7002: Process motor stalled
Please check nothing loose, and oil joints and bearings. Process motor most probably tries to tilt the print head but no success.

Ari
Hi,
Code means: No transitions are observed of the drum maintenance cam sensor. The sensor may be bad or the drum maintenance cam may be jammed.
My guess: parts may have moved/loosen during transport. Open and check.
