I think the reason is due to the fact that your text has been predefined as a certain size (maybe you are using styles). Logically the text wants to remain the size you have predefined. The only way to change the text size to fit the bigger frame would be to change the text to outlines first.

I think that you have a better chance of an answer to these questions on one of the other Forums. E.g. Adobe Photoshop Forum or Macromedia Dreamweaver etc...

It is still as you say Jimoblak. Photoshop creates the Photo Gallery then it will usually ask your web-browser to open the result so you can see if it is functioning correctly. Why it would "ask" InDesign to open the result is a mystery to me. If Pmover was on Windows I would make a wild guess...
