Also try uninstalling both explorers and reinstall a fresh version. Don't accept anything over the net unless you have requested it. Hijacks are getting trickier.
Good Luck
Thank you all for the advice. Even though we all search the WEB for info or just notice an interesting article, I am now aware of someone looking over my shoulder and a lot more careful of what the company would think is appropriate.
Alas our company just installed Websense which I figured out by being blocked from reading and participating in posts such as this. I imagine it cannot be circumvented.
I like to surf the news and comments and I surley don't want some Human resourses brute to come down on me.
Anybody have any...
A pain in the rear end way would be reformating the C: drive, reinstalling the cdrom drive from a 3.5disk, then installing your new operating system.
Of course you lose everything on the drive, but the bright side is it's clean.
A wild shot in the dark..I had a similar problem with a Gateway computer. They got on board with me and walked through all the settings. In the volume control properties there is a box you can check or uncheck called "digital".
Uncheck the box. A simple thing like that may fix you...
Here's a twist...your monitor may be going out. Try plugging another monitor in and see if you have the same problem. I the problem goes away..break out the wallet.

Try this..Press control alt delete and disable that program.
Then run cleansweep or other remove program software.
Now run Adware or spybot. Delete those refences.
Now do a search for that program name. You'll probably find a few references like sortcuts in your start up menu.
I've tried to ban my kids from rough sites and didn't succeed. There friends show them sites that you would never guess was a bad site. I finally got it under wraps when I showed them the history list and a had a heart to heart.
It is in the parents hands only. Everything in the world is not...
Another option I do when I screw up my computer is to repaire damaged files with the original system restore disk.
I have done this a few times. instead of reinstall or reformat there should be an option to repair only.

Quickly scanning the patent (near the bottom)it becomes clear that in the wording this would cover ATM machines, online banking, and sending your in your tax forms by E-mail. It patient seems to have be "designed" to process loans on-line. It's a far stretch to consider purchasing...
If my computer works - (what I consider flawlessly) - and the programs work together Then Microsoft can have my money and my support. I hated the old days of DOS and programs that were not interchangable. I believe a majority of people feel the same way...if we didn't we would all be on Macintoshes.
