How do I manually remove an old version of Director?
At the Director download site, there is a download for IBM Director Tools - use Dirclean from this download to clear out all the old Director stuff, reboot, then install v5.10. -

RDM Installation Problems
Is the Director/RDM server the DHCP server too? After installing RDM you have to run the PXEDHCP.BAT - this was the last pop-up you saw and probably clicked "OK" without reading. A quick check would be to look at your DHCP server to determine if PXE Option 60 and DNS Option 3 are configured. -

Building a Mirror (RAID1) on a x206 Server
I don't recommend monkeying around with your installed configuration without a backup! That said, yes, you can create a mirror with the second HDD and not completely wipe out your data - if you do it correctly! Take a look at the Installation Guide for the x206. -

Yes, you can change the threshold in the web-based access. You can also choose to ignore the alert from the Hardware Status pane in Director Console. Just click the icon in the lower right of the main Console. -

Since it sounds like the fault follows the "new" CPUs, you have two options: 1. Re-flash the system BIOS with all 4 CPUs installed. 2. If they still don't work, maybe you didn't get such a "good" deal. Sounds like they may be dead. -

They most likely disconnected the cable to attach it to an add-in (PCI) RAID Controller. I responded to your CPU issue also.
