    You can set up Agent Login and Logout buttons in the phone but I don't see that you can program a Resume/Release button.

    I've had a couple of phones disconnected for several weeks and haven't had one time out yet. You do get an visual indicator in ShoreWare Director whenever an IP phone is disconnected.

    Using ShoreWare Director choose Administration > Sites. Choose the site that you need to change the operator for. Under Operator Extension enter the extension number of the operator that you wish to use.

    Currently running about 200 analog devices (Polycom conference phones, modems for our gas and water meters that are read remotely, TTY phones, fax machines that the users are unwillng to give up for the fax server we have, elevator phones, etc).

    We migrated from two Avaya Definitys to ShoreTel this past spring and have not looked back. Two sites, 1360 users, and 800 IP phones at this time. GSmitherman about covered it.

    If you are using Definity Site Administrator (or whatever Avaya is currently calling their desktop administration software) you should be able to export the information you are looking to document into a CSV file that can be saved to a spreadsheet.

    If you have assigned Workgroup Agent to the extension and placed the extension into a work group you should see login status at the bottom of thr agent's call manager. Click on the Logged Out icon to login or view the queue monitor.

    In Shoreware Director under Administration > Users > Individual Users the Client Type (near the bottom of the General page) needs to be changed to Workgroup Agent. This will change the agent's call manager from Personal Call Manager to Agent Call Manager. A licence is required from ShoreTel...
