Instead of having the caller input/say a name,number or email address could the AA be setup so that if the caller presses 1 they would be sent to a specific voice mail box? The idea is that they would be sent directly to this mailbox and not be transfered out to the associated phone extension first.

I think then the gateway the phone is hooked up to is assigned to a ip-network-region which assigns the location.

I think an IP phone knows the location based on the ip address of the phone, which is reflected in the ip-network-map, which assigns the ip-network-region, which assigns the location, which determines which routing pattern the phone will use.

Hi, can't help you with the problem but i was interested in this solution. If you would be so kind could you let us all know how this is working out for your customer? Did they move move a different VM such as Intuity to the Microsoft product and if so what have been the real world pro and cons?

I've noticed that sometimes that the touch tones sound a little strange, not every time I call the intuity though. One time time the tones were strange and I spoke a few words and the tones cleared up. We have a similiar setup.
