Here is a command that you can have a lot of fun with. And use for work too :(

List trace station xxxx/x
An example would be list trace station 1234/7. This would activate button 1 on extension 1234.
Note: you have to add 6 to whatever button you want to press, button 1 is 7 button 24 is 30 etc…

Now here is how you can have some real fun with someone.
Go out to and find a funny number to call.
Then you put an autodial on a persons phone, say button 24, then "li trac st xxxx/30" will press the button and it will be on speakerphone.
Enjoy!

Now I should add that it is also a handy command for doing work (but that's no fun)
If someone says "my calls go strait to VM" you can from the SAT press the Send All calls Button on their phone.
Also nice for testing calls after a cut or something like that at a remote site.

Yeah, the uses are pretty limitless. If it can be a button you can activate it remotly now.

Thinking of using this for remote logout of an agent using ASA. Then I don't have to call into the remote access number, or set up a vector, etc.

here's how I see this going, Avaya reads this and just can't handle it, just way too much fun for the old bell heads.
So next month we will see a PCN to stop all but the most useful bits of this command. Then next we all get the PCN to install on our customers, which means more OT

It work for button assigment in digital/ip set, not for analog.

Fantastic - already had so much fun at the expense of the most tedious users... works on 2.x btw.
 
this is really handy getting rid of ringer off & SAC. also, FYI looks like the feature started working at R11, i tried on a R9 (when list trace started) and no go.
 
Makes you wonder how many other hidden commands there are.
 
From the help menu here is what you get if you do a 'list trace stat' then press help

Enter an assigned station extension [or ext/a(atm), q(qsig), 1-40 (button#)], ['
print']

Or press CANCEL to cancel the command
 
not very much info, i wonder what the atm & qisg option would do
 
I have used the /q option for trouble shooting QSIG problem. Very handy!

1Use list trace station to check the VPI.VCI data for the station identified by the extension ext. Add /a
after the extension (ext/a) to request ATM-specific trace data on S8700.
The following screen shows VPI.VCI and ATM-specific trace data for a successful 2-party call setup.
The VPI.VCI information appears for S8700. The ATM information appears on S8700 MC.

Use mark port to make a port unusable by normal call processing. The port can be tested, etc., but calls
are not attempted through the port. A marked port is saved as part of translation. Use clear port to restore

Is there anyway to keep this command from showing up in the history log??? =) I must admit it is a neat tool and a great way to play with someone however when you work at BP we all know the first thing to do is look at the history log.

but it works with ext/7 for button 1...

what happend if I enter

ext/1.....ext/6 ?
