Inhibit Off-Switch forward/Transfer and Outgoing Call Bar = All "Unchecked"
No Answer time raised to 25 seconds, still no luck.
Forward Internal calls is "checked".
Forward to another extension = Did work while on a DID.
External forwarding does work remember, when that extension is not apart of...
Avaya Version: IP office Server Edition R 11.1
So, we have some ICR's which we are routing directly to user extensions (Acting as DID's.)
However, when they are apart of the above configuration, call forwarding to their extension internally no longer functions.
Scenario:
Incoming Call route...
All,
I worked with an Avaya Engineer, and we consolidated our TRUSTCERTS config into one line. (46xx auto gen settings had two of our certs on separate lines in the config, and I had an internal CA cert on a separate line in the specials file.)
Once I added each of the 3 certs to a single line...
Our J100 phones freeze whenever we have to perform system reboots, which right now is frequently due to an issue with Voicemail pro. (Avaya is looking into the issue at the moment.)
So every time we have to reboot due to the VMPro crash, the J100 phones do not failover to our secondary server...
We have Avaya IP Office 11.1, and for some reason, our J169 phones will now upgrade past 4.0.0.0.21
The upgraded firmware files are uploaded (FW_S_J169_R4_0_6_0_8.bin) and the upgrade file is pointing to this .bin as well.
The monitor shows the phone reading the j100upgrade text file, and it...
@derfloh & @davea2
So I have found an Avaya solution that does seem to relate.
https://support.avaya.com/ext/index?page=content&id=ADMN115488
The second example is what I want to reference.
I took over this environment and was not involved in the installation. The Certificate I see in...
@derfloh
I have used instructions to use self signed certificates from the IPO itself. (Below was the link used)
https://www.ipofficeassistance.com/equinox-on-ipo-r11-with-self-signed-certificate/#Windows%20Setup
We are just starting to test out this Avaya IX Workplace softphone as we are pushing more people to work from home but I don't see a way to hook the softphone into the user extension directory that a physical deskphone can see with the directory button.
It looks like I am getting a "Contact...
***(Avaya IPO R11 SP1)***
So yesterday, helpdesk was making a simple recording for a menu within our voicemail pro client, when he received the following message:
"The server did not respond timely. Do you want to continue in Offline mode? .. Press Yes to continue in Offline mode or Press Exit...
@Nortel4Ever
Yes that is what I am referring too.
Our outgoing numbers are fine for all regular calls, but for some reason Bell is providing us with a report that is pointing to users with invalid PAI's. (It is showing up as the extension rather than the proper outgoing number that is...
We use Bell as our SIP provider and they have recently provided us with a report of calls that would be marked as "blocked" per the new CRTC policy being enforced in Canada.
All of our regular outbound calls are configured properly, but it looks like we have some issues with forwarding/twinning...
I am trying to figure out why our Avaya J169 SIP Phones freeze (No calls outbound/inbound.. frozen screen etc.) randomly.
Scenario:
Deployed 20 J169 SIP phones, came back the next day to continue deployment, 10 phones were frozen when trying to press any buttons.
There is a 100mb fiber...
Also..
If we remain on SIP it still doesn't explain why the J169 phones freeze when our IP office reboots for lets say maintenance. Our 9608 phones just reboot, our J169 phones froze.
@TouchTone
Would you have to manually set every J100 phone when they boot up to H.323?
@IPGuru
Absolutely, which we are aware of.
But when our H.323 phones can handle the inconsistency of a flakey DSL connection, and our SIP phones could not, that is why I posted to find out what everyone...
@Joe2938
That may have to be our ultimate solution for the offices with poor connection.
However, we are no longer able to buy our standard H.323 phones in 4 packs anymore which saved money, where as we can with the J100 phones. So the business wants to roll with SIP going forwards if we can...
@IPGuru
We have remote locations that are almost in farm fields so they will be utilizing very poor network connections. (Example: 6mb dsl for an office of 6 people in the boonies trying to run IP Phones / Computers over our WAN.)
@sizbut
I should have added this in my description, I have...
Like TouchTone said, use the autogenerated one from the IPO. If you need any modifications, I have been recommended multiple times to create 46xxspecials.txt and make my modifications there.
As long as the 46xxsettings.txt has "GET 46xxspecials.txt" at the bottom, the phones will know to hit...
I am trying to figure out why our Avaya J169SIP Phones freeze (No calls outbound/inbound.. frozen screen etc.) when there is even the slightest amount of jitter on the network. Our H.323 phones seemed to handle it just fine.
When we completed phone system maintenance recently, our H.323 phones...
