I figured as much. I'll need to be that someone. There's no technical staff onsite and we have other critical equipment that I wouldn't want to risk having turned off by mistake. Short of having a video chat with someone to confirm 100% that they hit the right switch, I guess I'm driving. No...
Howdy,
Is this possible?
Sadly, we have migrated most of my 9100's to Cisco and we are in the decommissioning stages of these systems. I know I can physically visit to power these off, but was hoping to save myself a bit of driving. I understand that I will need to visit if the power down...
Thanks 3racefan3. I work with an older gentleman, who accidentally bent the pins of the phone during EHS installation. He's sometimes in vacation mode, and didn't realize the issue until he found that 1 of the 2 phones he did the install on was working fine. The fix was to bend the pins back...
I have a DTZ-12D-3 on an SV9100, along with a Plantronics CS540 and an APN-91. The headset button isn't being activated when they try to use the button on the ear piece, they are reporting. So they are using the actual headset button on the phone, but then are reporting they are hanging up on...
Sorry for bringing up an old post, but it's' related. The installer is onsite today to spec out the site, and they asked me how to setup the CCIS, and I wasn't sure.
Robbed bit, PPP, HDLC, or PRI. Obviously it's not a PRI, but which of the other 3 is it?
Lastly, they asked if I need the T1...
I have 2 Standalone sv9100s that the customer wants to link. All programming aside, I need to order a Point to point CCIS circuit between the locations. Since everything is IP now a days, it’s a bit more difficult to source a circuit. I just want to confirm this looks good, since they...
CoralTech -- 84-34 is set already, but to 110. That is what the guide I've followed has requested it to be set as. We run Cox SIP trunks. http://www.cox.com/wcm/en/business/datasheet/nec_sv9100_v1.8_sip_trunking_config_guide.pdf
Belevedere -- so the problem has been noticed on iPhones. I'll...
Actually, it looks like if I dial slow enough from my AT&T cell phone, it works fine. But I have to input each digit slowly. Hopefully thats acceptable.
SIP. It worked fine from my cell phone before, I'm certain. I wouldn't have written these instructions without testing. It appears to only be from wireless AT&T cell phones. I haven't tested from Verizon, but will shortly.
With the COVID situation, it appears were having issues with our cell phone carrier AT&T and sending digits. It works fine from Google Voice and also from another AT&T landline locations with SIP trunks. How odd.
Howdy,
I have an auto-attendant and I'd like for users to be able to logon remotely. I have option # setup to LOGON and the destination is IXXXX. It's not working for some reason. I can get it to work by simply inputting an actual extension, but I'm hoping to leave it open so any extension...
Yup -- I'm just going to get 24 and just avoid it as it is not expensive anyways. Especially since the CCIS port license appears to be a resource license just like the copper, analog, and digital cards.
I was originally thinking of saving a few bucks, but it's better safe than sorry and will...
CoralTech -- It's not a a major issue. We're going to buy the licenses needed, I'm just trying to understand the system and licenses a bit better. Typically, I buy a resource license for every card and port I purchase. However, I have found that due to our usage, we are generally over...
You also want to make sure you select Function 01 - DSS/One Touch, which is for speed dials. I generally have the users control this as these can sometimes change. It's programmable from the phone, too.
Fair enough. I don't quite know how to tell if I am good on licenses. I am a novice, but did fully install this PBX from scratch. Does this look like I have enough? I have no issues buying the 4 licenses, but just don't want to buy something I don't need.
No. Feature Code Quantity
31 NAT...
Howdy,
Another dumb question about licenses on the SV9100. We plan on buying a 4 port copper card for 911 dialing in the event that our SIP trunks go down. I plan to send all 911 calls through the copper trunks, and the total amount of copper trunks will be 2. It will only be used for 911...
My notes for ordering CCIS in the past is that I provide clocking to telco instead of them to me...is that correct? Or should I let them provide the clocking?
Thank you
As suspected, and is why I didn't accept that as an answer from the dealer. It's a shame that I constantly have to verify I'm being sold the correct stuff, and is why I am digging so much as to what I really need to buy. Thanks again belevedere.
