Sl1000 Function key question 1

Hi all,

In the SL1000 is it possible to program a function key (15-07) with a phone number in the additional data directly, so that a person can just press the button and it will dial the number immediately.
I have tried different option in the function menu but no success
Does anyone have an idea if this is possible?

It should work. The additional data needs to have a 9 first to access a trunk.

You also want to make sure you select Function 01 - DSS/One Touch, which is for speed dials. I generally have the users control this as these can sometimes change. It's programmable from the phone, too.

Thanks for the reply, I didn't put a 9 in front of the number, that could be the reason it didn't work when I selected DSS/ One touch.

I have added the 9 in front of the number and it dials out from the main trunk number, but I wanted know if it is possible to have the DSS/ one touch call from a specific trunk port which has another number?

The default direct trunk select code is #9. In the DSS/BLF one touch, put #9 plus the trunk number EX: 003, then the phone number.
EX: #90035551234. This will select trunk 3 and dial out 5551234.
