I have a DTZ-12D-3 on an SV9100, along with a Plantronics CS540 and an APN-91. The headset button isn't being activated when they try to use the button on the ear piece, they are reporting. So they are using the actual headset button on the phone, but then are reporting they are hanging up on users. Is there a setting that needs to be activated?

Thank you

Never hooked EHS cable on 9100(haven't worked on one in a few years) but on 9500 headset button needs to be programmed on key 25 or 33 depending on the phone, you might give that a try.

Thanks 3racefan3. I work with an older gentleman, who accidentally bent the pins of the phone during EHS installation. He's sometimes in vacation mode, and didn't realize the issue until he found that 1 of the 2 phones he did the install on was working fine. The fix was to bend the pins back into place or swap the phone. Then we ran into an issue with headset ringing (he enabled it) and off hook ringing (he disabled it), where he confused the 2, and then the phone wouldn't ring (and the headset was docked). All and all, another day in paradise here on the Central Coast. Thanks again.
