want to get calls that ring to reception then to another ext to appear

Assuming you haven't changed the pickup groups, F75 (call pickup) will answer a ringing call from any phone. If more than one call is ringing, the one that has been ringing the longest gets picket up first.

MICS two doorphones and one DOC?

You can use multiple DOCs off of one phone, not vice-versa. The DOC only has one strike output. You'll need 2 DOCs if you want to open doors from calls on the 2nd phone. Why do you need the doorphone on the exit side of the door? Do people need to call someone for permission to exit? If you...

    Answer 2 DNS

In Element Manager, go to the set properties, assigned DNs. Assign DN221 to the other phones, ring only or appear and ring (the latter will eat up a key).

    BCM 450 call forwarding question

You can set up a guest mailbox and enable outbound transfer, but that still requires another button press from the user. i.e.: the user will call in, get the AA, enter the "extension", hear the mailbox greeting "press 7 to be transferred to my cell", outbound transfer. If you want to just do a...

Shutdown and Start up after changing UPS batteries

On a 400, it might take a while longer than 5 minutes. I usually see core telephony come back up within 5 minutes, but callpilot can take 15-20 minutes, or even more.

    Analogue CLI issue

Does the line appear directly on the analogue station? As in, does the station ring as soon as the incoming line does? If so, it's possible that the BCM hasn't received the CLID data packet from the trunk by the time it needs to send it to the station. What if you have AA pick up the line...

Doorphone BST going to analog port, can it work?

Nope. It's a digital set. Algo OEMs the doorphones for Nortel, and they make a full line of analogue and SIP doorphones that will look identical to the BST: http://www.algosolutions.com/products/doorphones-security.html - Adam

Setting maximum rings on Norstar m7324

Are you sure it's 12 rings, or 12 seconds? 12 seconds is about 4 rings.

When a call is answered by the Auto Attendant

Sounds like disconnect supervision isn't working. Does your telco provide DS, and are the trunks configured for it? There was another thread in the Norstar forum that suggested having your AA default to an info mailbox instead, that just says "thank for calling" and hangs up, if you can't get...

    Bell Anac number 613-958-2622

Curlycord, 2262 is a pretty common ANAC suffix... spell it out... I had a facepalm moment when I finally figured that one out myself.

    Bell Anac number 613-958-2622

Curlycord, You can try the 2580 # (just substitute your area code). 2622 used to work in the 416/905 as well until a few weeks ago, so I would assume that Bell has changed the numbers system-wide. I don't have any Bell POTS lines near me to test, but if that is the new Bell ANAC it should...
