Hey guys,

Our phone system was set to ring indefinitely up until some mysterious trigger recently stopped it. We've tried to reset the ringing to what the manual says is the maximum amount of rings, which is 12. If indefinite wasn't possible anymore, we figured 12 would be enough.
However, even though the line is set to ring 12 times it only rings 4 and then goes to our CCR tree. We need it to ring more as it is our night-line that employees use to contact after business hours. Any ideas how to fix the situation? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like the AA was turned on and set to 4 rings. Go into F983 and then to AA and Lines. Put in line 001 and see what it says.

I checked out the lines and line 1 is still set to 0. We have an AA that answers 9 of our 10 lines, and the nightline that is supposed to ring straight through is set to 12 rings but still stops after 4. Any other tips?

Disconnect from phone system and try maybe gets answer by provider or Busy no answer or call forwarded.

Are you sure it's 12 rings, or 12 seconds? 12 seconds is about 4 rings.

Make sure DRT to PRIME is turned off. They could have the trunks (lines) set to PRIME to the voicemail extension.
