I came across this issue when trying to change the AA greeting. It finally worked when I didn't immediately press 1, when finished recording. My next step was going to be reloading the SD Card, but didn't have to.
jhengle,
Are you using the 96xx as a VPN phone, or just another IP Phone which happens to be located at a different site that's caonnect via Site-to-Site VPN connection.
SonicWall is not the "friendliest" when it comes to VPN Phones and the fact that the default name is (i believe) something...
I experienced this after upgrading from 8.0.18 to 8.0.42.
I received complaints of almost unbearable static, but found out that the gains were too high (like a microphone, "too hot") and not really a "static" issue. Check if it noticeable when talking softly. If so, adjust the TX Gains. Do the...
This is a known bug. The only current options would be to switch to IP Office Mode or have your users record their greetings and include in their greeting "press 1 to leave me a message" and hope that the callers do press 1.
Otherwise they will hear the recorded name and system greeting too.
I’m having a problem with the Netgear FVS318 and getting a VPN Phones to connect.
I used something similar to a previous thread but it won’t work.
Here’s what I’ve got –

Deleted all previously added ARS entries and changed the IP Route on the remotes. Strange that it worked prior to the upgrade. Thanks for the suggestions.
The main site was upgraded from 3.2.67
All calls went through the Main Site.
ARS's for 3xx, 4xx, 5xx, and 6xx were added to the Main Site w/ i.e. Code: 3xx - TN: . - LG ID: 3, etc.
Again, the calls ring but the voice traffic does not go through.
I do not have any ARS entries for the remote sites - only line settings. Remote sites are 3xx, 4xx, 5xx, & 6xx. Should I put entries for each in the main site only. Do the remotes (still using LCR) need anything added too? Thank you for your help.
For basic SCN, do all sites need to be the same version.
i.e. Main Site - 406v2 (4.2.14) and all 4 remote site are SOE's (3.2.x). The main site was upgraded yesterday and now the remotes cannot extension dial each other.
aerosome, I've done something similar to this, using a selector code from the AA. Is this what you need? Can you provide the intended script from the AA? And are the targets continually changing, or do they stay the same on a weekly basis?
