The music source can be any approved low-power device such
as a radio with a high-impedance earphone jack. The
recommended ICS input level is 0.25 V rms across an input
impedance of 3300 ?
Any music source with a low-output impedance, less than
3,300 ?, can be connected. The output level...
Turn off "outbound transfer" in class of service 1 for all mailboxes (if you are using class of service 1 for all your mailboxes). Turn off this option for Class of service 7 for mailbox 102. This is usually how they get into your system.
This was an issue sometimes with systems upgraded to 7.0.
This issue may also be in 7.1 sometimes as i have never seen any bulletin noting that this has ever been corrected.
The procedure you invoked would be your only attempt to correct the issue.

Try Prime set the extension for the target line instead of voicemail DN.
When prime set is the voicemail dn, if a call primes to the voicemail, then the system will match DNIS digits to a mailbox. IF DNIS digits match the extension then you are good for going to the right mailbox. IF DNIS...
Set your target line to be answered by AA 12 rings,
To allow the external incoming call to follow the CFNA programming on the set you need to assign the line/target line to be answered by the BCM's Auto Attendant (AA). As long as the rings to answer are set higher than the CFNA rings on the...
VMPRO service / domain account - I changed the password for that.
VMPRO Database service runs with a local service account with nothing to change.
Should VMPRO Database be changed to run with a Domain account with the the password?
Thanks!!!
IP Office isn't bad to learn. When it comes to the advanced aps (CCC, IMS) you'll have fun banging your head against the wall the first time unless you have somebody showing you what to do.
IP Office loads aps on Severs unlike BCM/Norstar, so if you are coming from that arena you may have less...
Got a customer that needs to change his Voicemail PRO server 4.1(40)password. All programs were installed under the domain accounts. We changed the server password and the services passwords that run with domain accounts but did not change any services with local system accounts.

I informed Avaya that others were having the same issue and they said they were aware that others were having the same or similiar issues and were working on it.
They did not mention any existing patch nor any fix in 4.2.
Avaya engineer infomred me that it is still with R&D.
Thanks
Chris O'Neil
Who knows, maybe it will help.
DO you have an existing case with Avaya and what is the case number?
i can pass the info along to help show that there are other systems having the same issue.
Chris O'Neil
I have the same issue or a similiar issue.
My issue is a user makes a call, and hangs up.
Next time they pick up their phone, all they hear is a high pitched digital sound. I don't believe the user can make or receive calls, if they could, of course they could not hear anyting. Not a stuck...
I tell the cusotmer to do the following
*17 - Change password / Record name for mailbox
Exit
Now go into Visual Voice and press Greeting and record your greeting.
Done.
Through visual voice, the greeting is Greeting#1 for all calls. This keeps it simple for the user.
It is great that there...
