There is four places you need to activate the cli
If you are using a 2mb trunk between the PABX systems
on each station page - send cpn number =yes
on trunk form - send calling number=y
on same trunk form - format= unknown
change pub 0 - enter the trunk plus the required info
Just a guess, not sure if the version of your 46xx phones support http. I think the very first 46xx phones did not support http only tftp. Instead of using http, try and use tftp server
I might be wrong but my guess would be that the IP network region feeding the phone is set up with a Mulaw codec while the Global system is set up for Alaw or the opposite way around.
Display the codec in the ip-network region the phone is registered to.
Then display the location parameters
Check that the UDP port range specified in the IP-Network region which serves those phones are open on the network. You have a mismatch between what is set up on the network versus what is set up on the Avaya.
This usually happens if a untrusted QoS model is used where the settings received...
On the DS1 setup on CM3 you had a "a" and a "b"
When you are the slave setup you should be "b"
When you are the master setup you should be "a"
The "a" setting means this side would start the circuit after it was down.
In CM4/5 this setting was changed to "disable restarts =y/n
When you are...
You did ot mention your platform nor your software release and patches loaded. Had a similar issue on cM3 a few yaers back and it was fixed by loading a new patch
The is three areas which must be set up for CLI to work outwards towards the PSTN.
In the station form "send CPN number"
In the trunk form "send number". Please note that when the send number is set to "yes" the format field opens. here you must use either "unknown" or "public" - this depends...
"In a Trusted QoS model"
Your problem could be one of a few things:
The UDP port ranges as defined in the ip-network region serving the phones is not allowed through your firewall.
"In a untrusted QoS model"
If the UDP port ranges are remapped by your network guys and this totally mismatch the...
You do not use the CLAN to distribute the firmware to a High Density Medpro TN2602. You download the file directly to the Medpro. The TN2602 act as a source and target
The interchange is non service affecting
Main thing to remember is to ensure that the duplication link speed is set to auto-negotiation on both servers. The reason for this is on CM the NIC cards used for the software duplication should be 1Gb. The setup in the web interface does not allow for...
I have used this option in CM1.3 to do a soft shutdown on the CM server, initiated by a Mains fail to the UPS. I experienced several failures where the UPS would shut the CM side down as a result of a minor power glitch leading to a lot of frustration.
As from CM2 onwards the Linux kernel was...
You can set an analogue phone up as a hotline. If the instrument handset is lifted it will automatically ring at a predefined destination phone. The destination phone can be digital or IP so that the receiver can see who the call is coming from.
Did you set the CLI up on the Avaya?
I assume you are using normal ISDN q.931
There are three places on the Avaya where you need to set it up
On the station form - send CPN number usually page 2
On the trunk form - send calling number = y and format = unknown
On the cha public form where you...
Hi
I think you need to check your POE. If too many IP phones are plugged into a data switch and the power is over subscribed, the ethernet port on the data switch will be blocked automatically. In this case the IP phones will still look functional from a display point of view but if you try to...
All 46xx phones get the following values from option 176 on the DHCP server. YOU can specify different IP address scopes on the DHCP server each with its own option 176.
Al 96xx phones get their setings from option 242 onthe DHCP server.
The phones can amongst others get the following settings...
