CCC can be difficult to get running. I seem to have the most problems getting reports emailed. The reports are also too rigid. There is no way to make simple changes. This product really needs an update to make it viable.
We have started to sell other reporting packages because of these and...
I have had similar experiences with faxes and credit card terminals. They work fine on a T1 and only work sporadically on SIP or dynamic T1's. The problems seem to vary by carrier and location. I would avoid using SIP or dynamic T1's for any modem/fax/credit card terminal.
CCC needs to be installed on a server operating system. The info below is from Avaya's knowledgebase.
The CCC Server needs one of the following operating systems installed.
Microsoft Windows 2000 Server (SP3 or above)
Microsoft Windows 2003 Server
Make sure that the operating system has had...
You do not need the uplift if you are doing a new install. The uplift is used to convert version 4 data files to version 5.
What operating system are you using?
It is announced in the US today.
Avaya is announcing the End of Sale of the following IP Office applications:
• IP Office Compact Business Center (CBC)
• IP Office Microsoft CRM Integration
• Effective November 1, 2008 the Compact Business Center, and Microsoft CRM Integration

The CCC server does not queue reports so it will not send out reports if there has been a power outage.
The only way I have been able to manually send out reports is to create a temporary schedule to mail out reports in something like 5 munites and then I delete the temporary schedule.
I have not experienced any unique problems with circuits that are not NI2. We had to install several of them with other protocols when Avaya initially changed the way NI2 worked in release 4.1.
I have had an equal number of problems with all protocols across several carriers during turn ups...
I think the best way to approach this is to keep your own database of Do Not Call numbers and then scrub your calling list. If you do not have a previous business relationship with the people you are calling, it would be wise to use the national Do Not Call list first and then apply your...
Do you have CBC and CCC loaded on the machine? I see CBC in the Manager license keys and the license keys associated with CCC. A basic CCC installation has five licenses - CCC Agents, CCC PC Wallboards, CCCserver, CCC Supervisorss and Report Viewer.
CCC and CBC use Delta Server to get data...
Here are a couple of things to try if you haven't tried them already:
Check Manager to see if your license for CCC is valid
Open Delta Server, check the Comms tab from list on the left and makes sure it is connecting to the IP Office. It should say Comms restored once it connects.
Check the...
There is no "official" hourly rate that I have heard of. I think hourly rates are determined more by your location than any certifications you may have. Most customers really have no idea what the Avaya certifications mean. Certifications are great marketing tools e.g. our company's...
I have installed both CBC and CCC for customers. I agree that CBC makes a good coaster. CCC will do exactly what you want. It can generate reports on menu selections. Very handy to see what callers are selecting. It also has a number of other reports that you may find handy like how many...
Tech bulletin 212 covers this issue. We have had many problems with this because most of our customers are set to NI2. I don't know if Avaya's fix works because we have asked the carriers to change to 5ESS which works fine.

This is a supervisor/employee training issue. People will leave their desks whether the phone can be put into DND or not. There is a limit to what a phone switch can do to make sure calls are answered by live people. Ultimately it depends on having enough people to cover illness, bathrom...
What type of lines are you using? Analog trunks or T!/PRI?
Check to see if voicemail is coming back up after the power outage if calls are answered by an auto attendant. Voicemail must be up to answer incoming calls and it takes a little time for it to start working once the service has...
I have seen this same behavior in 4.1. It seemed to happen after a configuration change to a user. After the merge, that user would have all twinning setting erased. None of the people in our office use Phone Manager so Iknow that is not the problem.
We are now on 4.2 so I am waiting to see...
You are definitely having T1 problems. As everyone has suggested, it is most likely the carrier but occasionally it can be a hardware or wiring issue. See the alarm definitions below:
Red Alarm
A Red Alarm is a local equipment alarm, indicating a loss of signal for several seconds or more...
