I have a 4 port Startalk Flash Messaging unit on an older Norstar KSU. The customer does not have the Sys Manager password, so I went through the F985,9,etc procedure to reset it. Now, when trying to log in via F983, I get "Not Allowed", vs the password error we had before. All of the phones are...
Assigning a hunt-ns buttton redirects the entire hunt group. I want each of the two operators to "log" in and out of taking calls, just like an operator console would do.
Not to be rude, but I don't see how that would do anything for me. I am trying to emulate the behavior of attendant consoles. We aren't running any digital stations at this site, only IP, so attendant consoles are not currently an option.
I have two operators using 4621 phones answering the same incoming trunk group. I'd like to set up a hunt group, to distribute the calls between the two of them. Problem is, when the phones goes DND, calls still ring to it. Is there a way around this?
Is the gateway address live? If you provide a default gateway via DHCP and the router at that address is not turned on, the phone will reboot. Try removing the default router option from DHCP and reset the phone.
My understanding is that the IPSI needs to live in slot 1. At least, that is what the docs say, and what has worked in my experience. The S8400 integrates as an external media server (8500/87xx) that just happens to be physically located in the G650.
The Cisco automatically assumed that the 4621 draws 20 watts. The command "max-reserved-power" or something along those lines can be used to tell the switch the phone actually draws 10 watts, or whatever the number is. This will let you power 48 phones from a 3560-48-PWR
Am I missing something terribly simple? I want to display the time and date on the phones connected to a new IP Office 406 running 3.1. Nowhere in the config can I find anything. I have both 5610 and 2420 phones connected. If I plug in a 6408, I am able to switch the display to TmDay, but after...
I ran a `SELECT * FROM "GLAFS" ORDER BY "GLAFS"."FSCSDSG"` and it returned over 11k rows. About a third had the value in the FSCSDSG column set to "1" and the rest were "A". None of the other columns had any simmilar looking data, so I assume this is the right place.
I am trying to move a customer from 5.0 to 5.3, the trick is, they are moving from Enterprise to Corporate. When trying to activate GL after the database has converted from 5.0 to 5.3, I get the following error:
Description: You cannot upgrade because some of the features you currently use are...
It is my understanding that if I turn on forced account codes, and do not populate the account code list, then all codes will be accepted and passed out with the SMDR records. Is this correct? Below is the text from the R7 manual that got me thinking this.
If you do not create a Forced Account...
I'd like to hang a couple of 2420 phones off of a 9.0 switch. The phones come up and I'm able to dial out, and the softkeys with, with the caveat that I label them manually in the phone. The voicemail button doesn't seem to work though. This is not a supported setup, so I'm wondering if anyone...
