Anyone out there using Faxmaker over IP trunks?

Voice calls are working fine with VOIP and the calls are being routed correctly to/from the fax server. I am getting a success rate of about 50% when sending. When receiving the remote fax reports transmission OK but the received fax usually just shows a fraction of each page that was sent. I have tried forcing Faxmaker to use slower speeds but no luck.

Faxmaker v12 with Brooktrout TR114 modems
IP Office v3.1(29)

The VOIP tab on my IP lines looks like this:
Compression Mode: G.729(a)
H450 Support: H450
Enable Faststart: checked
Out of Band DTMF: checked
Allow Direct Media Path: checked
Voice Networking: checked
Fax Transport Support: checked

Any ideas much appreciated.

No, SCN calls are clear with no echo.

Thanks Jeremy, but I have a pretty high volume of voice/data traffic and I worried about the extra bandwidth needed for G.711. Unless I can figure out another way I think I will have to stick with 7.29a with out faxing.

Create a new IP trunk for faxing with G.711 as a codec, send all calls from the fax to this line.

I was pulled away from this for a while but finally got it working. Thanks to intigrant for the idea about using a second trunk for faxing.

FYI the settings that seemed to have the best sucess rate with Faxmaker and Brooktrout cards was:

G.711 ULAW
H450 Support: None
Only "Fax Transport Support" ticked
