I need to start pursing recorded line venders adn configuration for a S8700 CM2 using digital and analog phones with a MDF and IDFs.

I support this site remotley and the less wiring involved and have my onsite contact people do the better.

What are some current archetecture configuration you are using that are working well and the venders.

Thank You!

There are half-tap digital emulation cards for 6400/8400 series that go to tape or CD/DVD recorders, and Handset recording adapters for Analog phones, I believe Racal is one Mfg. (Google Telephone Recording Adapters)

This would be an enterprise size site consisting of 100s of agents.

Nice loggers using a trunk side recording configuration allows you to place couplers Trunkside between the PSTN and the switch. In this configuration you will have minimal wiring.

Dunstan would you happen to have some configurtion notes or white papers for the Nice Logger with trunk side?

How invasive is trunk side recording? I only have experiance with station side with Dictaphone, NICE in small environments.

This environment will be much larger and spanning three locaitons.

telcomwork,

considering all this, i'd like to recommend you to take a look at cmapi recording solution. it's software only, doesn't depend on extension and trunk types and easily expanded over multiple locations. and, it's much cheaper than traditional hardware-based recording solutions.
both nice and witness have these, with very attractive prices. be warned that these solutions require cti integration, but trunk side and station side with free seating would require it anyway.

Thank you. I'll look into this with NICE and Witness. Thanks again!

Dwalin you have any config notes for installation/configuration and archetecture for a cmapi solution?

You might also want to look at Mercom. They have multiple recording for Avaya systems..
