Having a issue where ip phones find dhcp but once found diaply 'find router' and then reboot and go into a loop. The phone is able to broadcast a packet out to the switch and the ip-helper address is correct as it reaches the DHCP after 4 secs. As soon as it finds it and displays 'find router' the phone reboots again. Not sure if the phone has at this point got the native VLAN address first assigned by the DHCP or the VLAN from option 176.
The network ports have been set up for voice.

We've seen router or looping kinds of conditions for errors in the DHCP offer default gateway (check for typos in DHCP), PBX ip-network-map specifies an incorrect VLAN ID, and a DHCP server connected via 802.1Q trunk instead of an access VLAN. Just like avayafreakje suggests, check for typos and extra spaces in the option 176 tags - strange things happen if there is any error at all. We've seen bad tags that pass the ip boot test and show expected results in an SNMP query only to find that the phone won't use some of the values passsed from option 176.

Is the gateway address live? If you provide a default gateway via DHCP and the router at that address is not turned on, the phone will reboot. Try removing the default router option from DHCP and reset the phone.
