I have dialed into the system sent the files over modem line and do not understand the term shell. How can I open a new shell when the modem port will not respond to pdt or the switch side. cannot communicate over modem line. how do I open a new shell
using pdt to send patch zip file to A: ssc or u patch directory before it completed locks out port you are sending over and cannot talk to switch or pdt
IF THESE TRUNKS ARE DID YOU NEED A NUMBER IN THE LDNO OF THE CUSTOMER DATA BLOCK. IF YOU ARE A THREE DIGIT PLAN YOU NEED A THREE DIGIT NUMBER IF A FOUR DIGIT PLAN FOUR DIGITS NUMBER AND SO ON. THIS IS MY THE FIRST THOUGHT NOT KNOWING MORE ABOUT YOUR CONFIGURATION. HOPETHIS HELPS
I ASSUME YOUR TRUNK CARD IS CROSSCONNECTED TO YOUR DIAL LOGIC CARD. GET ON THE T AND R OF THE TRUNK WHERE IT IS CONNECTED AND MONITOR A CONNECTION WITH A TEST SET TO SEE IF YOU HEAR BOTH SIDES OF THE CONVERSATION. IF SO THE PROBLEMS POINTS BACK TO THE TRUNK OR OPTION 11. IF NOT PROBABLY THE...
In LD 15 under net data depending on what features and release you have you will need an enty under HNPA for your area code and an entry under HNXX for you office code this should give you 10 digit calling line ID For a long distance call dialed with ten digits. If you only dial seven digits...

ONE ISSUE THAT HAS NOT BEEN SUGGESTED IS THE TRUNKS IN THE ROUTES INVOLVED SET FOR SUPERVISON YES IN LD 14. I STILL STAND BY MY ORIGINAL STATEMENT THAT IF THE CENTRAL OFFICE DOES NOT GIVE ANSWER SUPERVISION EVEN IF THE TRANSFER IS COMPLETED THE TRUNKS WILL NOT RELEASE WHEN DISCONNECTED. ALSO IN...
IF THESE ARE ACD SETS AND THEY HAVE A DIRECTORY NUMBER ON ANOTHER KEY AND THAT NUMBER ALSO APPEARS ON ANOTHER SET. IT WILL NOT KNOW WHICH SET TO LITE THE LAMP ON. IT WILL NEED TO BE REMOVED FROM ALL OTHER SETS EXCEPT THE ACD SET TO WORK PROPERLY.
MOST DIGITAL CENTRAL OFFICES DO NOT GIVE ANSWER SUPERVISION BACK TO THE PABX ANALOG TRUNK PORT. OLD STEP CENTRAL OFFICES GAVE REVERSE BATTERY SUPERVISION ON ANSWER WHICH WOULD GIVE THE ANALOG TRUNK ANSWER SUPERVISION. NEEDING ANSWER SUPERVISION FOR TRUNK TO TRUNK TRANSFER YOU NEED A DIGITAL T1...
