My head is dead! Does anyone know what entry is used to enable off hook ringing on the console. I don't mean the 2 quick rings, I want it to keep ringing.
Leave the old account as it is, then create a new account. Reboot your PC and delete the old account, reconfigure the new account to be whatever the old account was. This creates the account on a new part of your harddrive and forces all programs (Norton, etc) to look for it there, in case you...
In case you don't already know, CICS 6.1 software has a huge bug! Intermittently, phones will lock up or go dead, if you press the keys, sometimes the phone will start working or unplugging the phone and plugging it back in will restart the phone.
There is a repair available, call your Norstar...
Hi folks, Have a KXTD1232 with HSM. Occasionally guests in the rooms complain that they are recieving "wakeup" calls that they didn't request. Check HSM shows no wake up call but previous guest "may" have had one set for the same time. Any ideas?
I don't doubt that this is happening on the internet but I purchased direct from a Nortel dealer. The labling on the software was correct (SIP) but the date was a bit old. I will be buying more product and if I have problems will report back to you all and Nortel. I'm sure Nortel's shares are...
TOLL RESTRICT! We toll restrict all voice mail system ports on EVERY system we install and advise the customer to change the security codes on all boxes regularily. It is a trade off of security vs the few long distance message notification numbers that might be requested.
Following this thread, I found out the hard (and expensive) way that NRU 10 only works on 6.1 and higher. I am still trying to locate a copy of the older software, perhaps NRU 5 or so, so I can bac up older MICS, CICS and 824's. Anyone able to help?

Another option would be to have an "Answer DN" button of your bosses extension on your telephone. This way, whenever his/her phone rings, your DN Button will lamp and ring, but no answer will still go to his/her voicemail.
We usually install a M7100 or equivalent on the system and program it with "Night Ring" (Or whatever service mode you need) then, use the loud ring contact from the bottom of the phone to the input of a paging system. Then you hear ringing, either a directed call pickup to the 7100 set or...
Well, O2003 = Outlook 2003, so here goes. In your modem dialer, instead of telling your dialer to always dial 9, for an outside line, leave it blank. Then in your O2003, when you enter the telephone numbers, insert the 9,nnn-nnn-nnnn for local and 9,10-nnn-nnn-nnnn (10 or whatever code you...
Hi Gerry, here's the scoop. The files are located in:
C:\Documents & Settings\User\My Documents\Timesheets\Timesheets 2004\Timesheets 06-2004\*.xls
When I open a file in the Timesheets 06-2004\ directory, while I am working on it, it shows up as Line 1 in the recently opened as 1 BC Timesheet...
Perhaps you forgot to say that you would pay them for their time. As NEC does not offer it's Vendors free support and traing costs roughly $25,000.00 USD per technician, it is no wonder. We have no problem giving the customer the basics but if you are really interested, ask one of them to...
