I'm looking for help in diagnosing the cause of a huge amount of traffic between a local SQL server and that running on a web site. On Friday there was 1.3Gb of data transferred, on Saturday 2.2Gb!! Even help on how to log and trace network traffic from SQL Server would help. I'm paying out a...
Does anyone know of a way of setting the maximum width of a document within a browser window using ASP/VBScript? The max-width style sheet property does what I want in Opera, but not in IE.
Sorry to be a pain, but I am still getting the same error. I even cut and pasted your code in with no success.
Here's the code
Private Sub Command1_Click()
Dim je As New JRO.JetEngine, srcdb As String, string1 As String, string2 As String, strfrom As String, strto As String, strKillfile As...
Thanks for the suggestions. I tried jro and but it does a repair and compact, which won't work for access 97 files. The dao method won't open access 2000 files with 3.5 and does a compact/repair with 3.6.
I have designed a small util in VB5 to convert my access 97 databases to 2000 as the web space I use only works with 2000. I would like to be able to programmatically convert the files back to 97 if I ever have to download from the web site to work on them. I have tried the compactdatabase...
Problem is I wanted to display values from the database which I don't want the user to be able to choose. I think I'll just have to display the current status in a box above and restrict the choices using a select below.
Thanks for your help - I understand how it works now. :-)
Really stumped with this one. I am displaying records from a database on a form. I have a status Select box with three options hard coded. I pre fill the box from the database, but the select box always shows the first option. I have put the same status value in plain text beside it and it...
I am a novice w.r.t. Unix. I have inherited a system which has the join daemon set up for DHCP. As we have a mixed environment I am using NT for this and have killed the joind daemon. However, joind now restarts approx. 15 mins after being killed. I don't even know where to look to trace this -...
Why not create a background picture that has your web site logo either as a watermark, or as a small image with lots of white space above it?
I used photo editor to make a pale image to place behind my emails.

Thanks, I think this is on the right track, but unfortunately I get an "Object doesn't support this property or method" error when I dim as an object or variant.

Yes, it is a mailitem, and I've already done the resume next. My problem is that I want to display the NDR and resume next doesn't do this.
Thanks,
Peter
In Exchange Admin/Mailbox Resources double click on the username. On the Limits tab you can specify a maximum size of outgoing emails. Set it to 15Kb - this is more than enough for an email, but not enough for a one page Word doc.

Looks like he's on a distribution list for helpdesk staff. As soon as you delete his account the distribution list will then produce the error - you need to remove his name from this list and all will be well.

I have a form in Access that retrieves a list of unread emails from outlook using the following code:
For Each mailoutlook in folderOutlook.Items
If mailoutlook.UnRead = True Then
'Add to rowsource of list box here
End if
Next
This has worked fine until I got a Non Delivery Report...
Try using Tools/email accounts
click the change/modify email accounts and click next. Use the new outlook data file button to create a new .pst and make sure that the deliver new email drop down is pointing to the new file.
