Try reinstalling a new windows 2k installation on the primary partition and back up all files on all partitions and repartition your drives.
An crc error is quite a severe error.

You can use this location in the registry to automaticly run a batch file
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
with "regedit /s yourfile.reg"

On an NT domain AD is not possible. If the drive is NTFS formatted, you can use local security. just right-click on the file / folder -> properties -> security

Create 2 roaming profiles an set them to be stored in the same folder on the laptop.
Ps you can logon as a domain user without being connected to the domain controller

My computer hangs when there is too much network traffic. The computer hangs for about 2 seconds, and then it works normally again. I have tried evry OS i could find, but it happens to all of them. Is there anyone who can help me with this, or has the same problem? I have 2 NIC's but it happens...
if you are running an DHCP server, connect the laptop to the network, and reset your network connection by using the command "ipconfig /release /renew" from the command line prompt
