Hi i was wondering if any one knew about this problem im having with my windows 2000 pro

i booted up as usual and to my amazement this time all my shortcuts dont work and i cant get into my f: drive as it says not formatted but thats just not true

i think i know what it might be i used spybot to locate spyware but i think i might have corrupted the registry or a viruis has sneaked in but i do use the latest in virus protection norton.

anyway ideas would be appreciated but i logged in as admin and thiongs are working so it must be my other profile thats corruped im only guessing

thanks Tim:)

techtv,

Disks are a "system level" setting. What shortcuts don't run ??

Go to Start>Run and type:

start %systemroot%\system32\diskmgmt.msc

Do your disks show up correctly ??
