Check with your company to see if they have setup any sort of VPN access so that you can use your broadband access. Otherwise you may be out of luck.

I have setup Outlook 2000 as my mail client for our Lotus Notes server via MAPI. By doing this all my new messages and any message that I had saved on the Lotus Notes database could be moved to Outlook. I don't even have to log into Lotus Notes anymore.

Not if you are using the Webmail verion of Juno. If you have the paid version of Juno then Juno should have provided this information to you so you could do POP3 mail.

As mentioned above use File/Import and Export and then you would need to select the type of export. I normally use the pst type of export but depending on the application you want to load the Contacts into you may wish to select one of the other choices. Then you would select the Contacts folder...
Here are a couple of ways you can handle this:
1.) Rename the old Outlook pst file and then get Outlook working again and then import from this renamed pst file to the new Outlook files.
2.) Rename the old Outlook pst file and then get Outlook working again and then delete the current pst...
When you mapped the network drives did you select to Reconnect at Logon? If you don't need the drives until you select them you could change this option and it may speed things up for you.

I created several Contact folders that contain just the type of information I wanted in it. For example I have a Contacts - Lotus Notes Id, Contacts - Internet Id and a Contacts - Personal.

This is the result of upgrading to SR-2 and short of uninstalling Office 2000 I don't think much can be done about this enhanced security feature that has been forced on us. You could try the Outlook Insecrity Patch. You can get it here:
