I am experiencing intermittent DNS issues whereby I can monitor the DNS
requests being sent and the DNS replies being received, however internet
services which rely on the DNS responses being received, eventually time out
with "host unreacable" or " server cannot be located".

I need to migrate about 3000 NT4 users to a Windows 2003 domain.
In preparation for the migration, I want to be able to determine the SIDHistory attribute sizing for each user. Does anyone know how to calculate the SIDHistory data?
thanks and regards
Trevor
I need to migrate a selection of Domino 5.0 accounts into an Exchange 2003 system.
On completion of the migration, the "Domino Accounts" will be deleted from the Exchange Directory, as they will be Exchange mailboxes, however I need to retain the Domino accounts in the Domino NAB as they are...
I believe its Exchange 12 and due for release mid 2006.
Here is an extraction from a news update, referenced in this link

Symantec recently bought two companies in this space, Brightmail and TurnTide, he added. Other companies...
GOAOZ,
I definitely had W2K SP4 installed...Id suggest you install it.
I suspect the original External USB TO IDE case to have been faulty, possibly due to power or even the internal firmware, as I am now able to connect a range of Seagate drives, 12GB, 20GB and 200GB to my W2KPRO/SP4 system...
By the way, here is more information:
1) The Operating System is Win 2000 Professional with SP4.
2) The "NEC PCI to USB Enhanced Controller" drivers are "ousb2hub.sys" and
"ousbehci.sys" version 2.0.60 provided by OrangeWare Corporation
3) The "USB 2.0 Root Hub Device" driver is...
Hi,
Has anyone experienced a blue screen on a DELL laptop when connecting a USB to IDE hardrive (120GB) using a NEC PCI USB 2.0 Cardbus adapter?
The bug check is "Bugcheck 0x0000000A (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL)" which results in an immediate crash and minidump which results in corrputing the drive...
I'd then suggest checking the supplier's website for updated drivers. Did you not receive the USB/IDE driver software from the supplier, and what brand is the unit?
Trevor
It was included on my Windows 2000 Professional software CD. But you should be able to search for it thru Google and download.
If you can't find it, let me know and I can email the files to you.

I had a similar problem and found that the reference to the Offline Address Book on the Mailbox Store was empty.
After assigning the Offline Address Book (browse and found it), dismounting and remouting the Mailbox Store, the problem was resolved.

I found the cause of my drive corruption to be the USBStor.sys driver. Since installing the USBSTOR.SYS (5.00.2196.6655) and the DISK.SYS (5.00.2196.6655) the problem has resolved.
Thanks to everyone for their assistance and efforts...much appreciated
The link on the error message directed me to this Exchange 2003 link:
http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/evaluation/sysreqs/2003.mspx
which didnt reference a patch that had to be applied.
Thanks
Trevor
Hi Asktheman, thanks for your speedy reply - much appreciated :)
I selected the link that was displayed in the message, only to be directed to the Exchange Website - the only reference to a patch was for a Clustered Exchange setup, which wasnt applicable.
Do you have the details on the patch...
