I've had this happen before. I solved the problem by Collecting for Output on a different drive than the original file location. I don't understand why this happens, but that's how I get around it.
If you are using Acrobat Distiller 5.0 there are built in job obtions to distil. Where is says Job Options in the interface select Print. Then under Settings > Job Options, it will tell you the details of how that setting will distil your file. You can adjust the settings to your...
Hi,
I think that maybe Photoshop is not the application you should use. I have alot of success using CorelDraw to import a variety of file formats including Autocad and similar type of formats ie dxf, cgm, igs etc. Once you import into CorelDraw you can then export the drawings out as tif to...
Hi,
I have upgraded to V10 with SP2 running on Win2000 and I have NO problems. I have never had any problems with CorelDraw, but I do install any/all of the patches and service packs they offer.
Hi,
They are both excellent programs and are the staple in the graphic designers arsenal. Illustrator is for creating vector-based or object oriented type of images (ie polygons, lines, text etc. to create illustrations and/or page layouts, web pages etc, whereas Photoshop deals with...
Hi,
I use LiveMotion for creating Flash (swf) animation and Gif animations for my corporate website and for banner advertising on search engines. I also use it when creating animated sequenced for interactive CDRoms. I also take the swf files and convert them as video files (avi) and insert the...
I use both CorelDraw V10 and Illustrator 9.0. I swap files back and forth between the two with no major issues. I think all that would matter would be font issues (better to create outlines on the fonts) and what version of either software is being used. You could be safe in saving your...
The reason you are getting the white boundry box on your imported images is because you need to have an alpha channel as your backround on your image. If you are using Photoshop to create your images, make sure you have a transparent background. I always use the native photoshop format (.psd)...
I have just pre-ordered Live Motion 2.0. According to Adobe, it will ship in February, I have also found MM to be to difficult to use. I have been using Live Motion 1.0 for about a year and it's so much easier to create animation. I can't wait for version 2 for the action scripting tools.
From my experience, Illustrator version 7.0 is the best version to save your images in. Corel likes that version best. CorelDraw 10 will save it's files as a Illustrator V7 file.
Hi,
I can't really tell you why it's not working. Copying the same colour and fill properties is just a matter of selecting the object that is the source object, right-click your mouse (for Windows platform) and drag onto the target object.
I'm not sure what you are trying to do. Are you selecting several objects or a group of objects and trying to fill them with the same colour? You can send me the file and tell me what you want to do. Which version of Corel are you using?
I would export the CorelDraw image with a background colour that is similar the background of your Powerpoint slide, then when you import the image into Powerpoint, use your flyout Picture menu and select the Transparancy Tool and click on the background in your image and it will be transparent...
I have found that creating the graphic image in Photoshop with a transparent background works great for what you are wanting. Premiere should include the transparancy of the .psd file when you import it. If not, you have the option to select the background to remain transparent by choosing...
I had the same problem. I found out that I had the wrong setting on my VCR. I had to change it to the correct Line 1 out on my VCR and then it recorded OK. Hope this helps you.
I believe you have to have the scale with image box checked for each individual line weighted object in order to scale the entire selected group and their line weights.
I personally like to use Adobe Photoshop to create my titles and logos. The native .psd format is easily imported into Premiere. Make sure the aspect ratio of your title file is the same as the video your editing.
