Collecting for output on a PC

When I try to collect for output it looks as if it is collecting everything, but then when I go to the file, it's empty. Any ideas?

I've had this happen before. I solved the problem by Collecting for Output on a different drive than the original file location. I don't understand why this happens, but that's how I get around it.
