Yes...MS IIS is installed. The client installation will halt if IIS is NOT installed. That's about the only thing Nortel did right.
As for Reporting Server 2.0, yea...I looked at that today. Wondered if it was a viable option. Didn't take long to see while a pile of garbage that was...
Well...I have uninstalled and reinstalled so many times, it's pathetic! And, today I took my own server on location as to take their PCs and network out of the equestion, and still NOTHING! The reporting 'server' is collecting the information from the CallPilot, but the web interface part of...
Is the line set to Appear&Ring at the fax machine's DN? Also, what is the setting for that DN under Prime Set? I would clear that parameter...or use the fax machine's DN.
Under Terminals&Sets, you have to specify whether or not a DN is a 'Caller ID Set'. Change this to 'Y', and you should be all set. Also, make sure you ask the customer whether they want to see the Name, OR the number. Only one will show at first...but not both. Pressing the INFO button...
Nope...it HAD Norton. I uninstalled it all. I found a utility in the Reports Server folder that showed me the Report Server is definitely collecting the data from the CallPilot. It's just the WebServer pice that is not working. I'm thinking of installing the client on a different PC and...
Totally stripped down the server to nothing, and reinstalled everything to-the-letter, aragon. In fact . . . I've done it TWICE! Nothing. What a bummer. I have started another thread to no avail, but can you tell me if I can uninstall and reinstall the Reporting keycodes? Would that even...
You'll see me suggest this a lot...as it catches a lot of bugs without spending a lot of time trouble-shooting.
Have you performed a 'SET COPY' from a working DN that functions similar to how you want his to function? And remember to copy both SYSTEM & USER data. If this fixes the problem...
Finally! It's a done deal...working wonderfully! Once the CO provider activated 'Centrex Call Transfer', all I had to do is place a '#' before and after the external number, and it works like a charm. The call totally disappears off the system and the caller is transfer to the out-of-state...
Just going by memory here...but as I recall, you can't wire an easier system. The 6 COs are simply RJ11 plugs that go directlky into the KSU. And the stations are the first 16 pairs of the 25-pr Amphenol cable, from the KSU onto a 66 or 110 block.
If you're not following me, you may want to...
I'll be experiementing with this on Friday, as well. Thanks for taking the time.
Now here's a new twist...perhaps. On a Centrex Transfer, I believe I'm going to have to flash the line a second time once the number is dialed...then I'll have to release the line. This may require me setting...
I've been elevated to the third tier of tech support today. Tech support guy #1 and #2 didn't seem to know as much as I did. Yippee! Hopefully, I'll here from Mr. MAN someday soon.
Frustrated and venting...
Sorry,
Could only shorten it to 3 rings, and yes, it did affect all calls being sent to any phone. This sure is an over-sight on Nortel's part. Most other ACD softwares allows you to program ringback at the agent level. Global settings do little good here. Oh well...
Still no luck. Acts the same as yesterday. No realtime reports.
I'm getting phone tech support from the equipment supplier . . . he's "supposed" to be good at CC Reports. Time will tell.
Will try it in the morning. Thanks!
I installed both client and server on the same PC. IP = 10.10.10.59 I was using http://10.10.10.59/rcc/main/index.asp as the web address, and I was using 10.10.10.59:8088 in the IP address field. All SSL boxes were unchecked. It would seem to download...
