Hi guys and gals,
Resellers and NCR are pushing every 'new' install to 15.1 for compliance issues, which is dubious, but probably required soon anyhow...
Has anyone installed 15.1 in production yet? I hear that it's 'very' different in terms of support, COM, installs, etc but what should we be...
We've created 20170524.sch files that appear identical to the old, native sch files. However, it's not working and I'm not sure why. It seems pretty straight forward.
I see that in Aloha QS 12.3, at some point, I assume EOD, the native (created by MenuLink) are ingested and a 20170524.ok file...
Orders are being taken now for hardware that ships in April (So May at the earliest, lol)
There's a choice of 4 different devices, 2 are Verifones, like the MX915, which is ubiquitous.
You will have to have "Connected Payments" which is (I think list is) $75/m/s. Connected Payments replaces EDC.
Hi guys,
How do I prove that CleanPan is working? As far as I know, I should see a debout.cc with good info, but I'm missing the deltrack markers. Did they change the markers? I see a LPFLAG, is that it?
thanks!
Have not seen anything like this. I appreciate the post though, in case I run across anything suspicious on my systems, it's good to know what to look for.
Yes and no.
There is a software "maintenance" fee that must be paid annually.
If you don't pay it, you can't upgrade to anything else beside the minor version you're licensed to.
So if you're licensed for 6.5, you can't upgrade to 6.6+.
If you decide at some point you need to upgrade, which...
I totally agree.
There has been a huge spike in new users on this forum particularly.
It was pretty contained for a very long time, and then suddenly it's the most popular place on the interwebs.
I am also very suspicious.
You learned something wrong...
This is not a good idea. (Well, not a good long-term idea. If it gets you going while you figure out the root cause, then I'm all for it.)
Hosts files only mask an issue by "forcing" the DNS, or really, bypassing DNS.
The next time someone has to troubleshoot...
Aloha Loyalty has all of those features and much much more. Its a pretty decent product and will likely be cheaper in the long run than trying to re-invent the wheel. Most of the functions you listed will be very difficult to accomplish and you will end up with very few features, if any, to...
It's likely still a BOH issue.
Check in the services on the BOH. Make sure the following are all started: RPC Server, RPC Server Locator & Print Spooler.
Make sure that any services that are set to "Automatic" are started, if not try and start them. (report any you find please)
Also, on RPC...
shoot, sorry.
I missed the part that you said you changed the password back.
In that case, ignore the services steps I mention and just go into User Accounts and make sure none of the accounts are locked out.
But you may still want to try the downtime.ini copy.
On the BOH, go to RUN and type services.msc then hit enter.
In the list presented, find ctlsvr and right click and go to 'properties'.
On the tab called 'Logon', tell us what is there. If it is checked to "Log on as a specific user", then you should stop the service, enter the new password...
All of this happened in the same day?
Did you reboot the BOH?
btw, I do not recommend ever doing what you did. Unplugging the BOH suddenly is a recipe for a disaster, especially depending on the POS version, which you did not provide.
I suspect that the misbehaving terminal is trying to...
Cross post from this thread
All of these are important, and so are POSRescue's suggestions above.
Also, just because it prints 100% from windows, I would not make the same assumptions about power or cabling at all.
Please give much more information:
6.4 what?
What brand/model of printer...
I wish....
For me, a new item is AT LEAST a 10+ page document with every raw ingredient, every prep item, every recipe, every detail, every comp/promo, pictures of the plates, where the buttons go, what the buttons say, what the server should say about it, what pairs with it, go-live dates...
