Is it a CP100 1.5 or 2.0 ?
There were some twitches in the 1.5 software that were fixed. I had F987 go MIA on one CP100. Every other code worked fine but that one. Tried everything possible to fix. Did upgrade and it fixed it. Must have been a corrupt file or something.
Is it hooked up to your network?
It's a web interface so it should be port 80, I think.
The IP is 192.169.110.10 unless it was changed to match your network.
Your A and B ports should go on the last two ports in the system. If the software is not restricted it would be the 15th and 16th pair on the 66 block. If it's restricted it would be the 7th and 8th pair.
Only the Nortel Meridian platform can do what you want, as far as I know. The Norstar only allows one port for all hold and park music.
Maybe there is an adjunct the will put it on the lines directly. I haven't seen it, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
You Vendor is wrong, get a new one or call them on it! The NIC port on the CP100 is active. The default IP address is 192.168.110.10 (just like the NAM was). If you hookup to it with a PC or laptop with a crossover cable, you can access the web interface. You must set the PC to...
Better off with a new CICS cabinet. Then you know it's going to work with VM. The software should have been fine, but system could have lost programming.
Get a new(refurb) CICS with line card, put old software in and power it up. Or get it with software. Should be able to do that for less than...
I take it they are too cheap for the MICS upgrade!
5.1 should upgrade fine, but if your capacitor is no good in the KSU, all will be lost. This is very common in the 8x24 because of it's age.
I have this problem sometimes. Usually it's me or the other person that's the problem. The timing for hanging up the analog phone is important on operator assisted. Too quick and the modem won't answer. To long and the modem gets confused. I agree with the dialing down the baud rate. That...
Today I have Ortronics training all day.
Call me tomorrow @ 508-482-5804 (DID) or 800-848-8362 and ask for me. If you know what you need I can put together a quote. Spectralink usually wants "to scale" blueprints of the buliding floor plan. That way they can place the bases for maximum efficiancy.
Serial port.
If you have a DB25 to DB9 serial cable, you can hook it up to PC. Use Hyperterminal or the like. 1200 8N1 I think.
Password: SYSMGR (all caps)
You can view the reports on the screen.
When you get down to the right menu I think it's 1 of mailbox report you want.
Just had a thought. Would a CallPilot be too small? My CP100(2.0) says it has 8 trees possible (under CCR) when I look at the web interface. It has 100 greetings as well.
You need 2 or 4 station ports to dedicate to it if you go with that idea. Keep the Cinphony NAM and ditch the other one. If...
They need more than 4 trees?
If it is for different sub-companies, try to seperate them in a way tha makes sense to there business.
Put group A on one switch and group B on the other.
Then use E&M or T1 cards to allow calls to pass between the companies. In theory it's possible. Getting the...
Your internal battery might be dead. Better get a paper copy of your programming. Next power outage could default your switch. Time to start planning for an upgrade.
There's a neat little box called an AUXBox that will do it. I did something like this for an appartment rental agency.
You have to have it hooked up to that persons station port. They can control it from a PC with USB connection.
They set it to record mode and play the message normally threw...
