Have customer with a MICS and a PRI. they pick up handset and have system dial tone. but after they hit 9 (either destination code or access code - sorry dont know which) to access PRI-A the dial tone goes away. they can still dial out but are used to having secondary dial tone after 9 until...

fyi, the ext/line copy will copy the lines but the new ext will default for those lines to ring even if they weren't set to ring on ext you copied. still have to go into cntr prog of new ext and turn line ringing off if desired.

i dont work on comdials very often, specially programming side. customer has an impact. line port 2 is bad. they dont use line ports 5 & 6. was wanting to move their COs lines 1 &2 to ports 3&4, and move COs 3 &4 to ports 5 &6. and then program the system to just have line 3,4,5,6 to...

take co #1 off system and put butt set on monitor. after first ring you should here the caller id signal coming thru. never trust a provider. if you dont hear the signal ask for vendor meet.

from operator console or winSPM go to system programming, start, extensions, more,more, hotline, then remove ext #399 from list. then extensions, lines n trunks , ext #399 and add 818 to appear on #399.

hawks is right to question sip trunks on other systems. inexpensive but in their infancy as well.
