Ok...to continue in a new thread...

PHEWISH

Anyone have ideas on this one?
I think it's "Pfff...You wish!"
It's probably on an expensive car...

Had a different thought about THKSAOL
What if it meant "Thanks A**hole" like when they get cut off or something. Or maybe they got the car from a divorce?
It is only natural with us being computer peoples that we assume it meant AOL, but when I was looking through my brain actually pronounced it the other way.

As for your rant rjou, if you were a police officer, you probably could actually write them a ticket for littering, could you not? I know if I was an officer I would write all of them tickets for throwing the cigarette butts out windows. Especially when it hits my freaking car! /rant

rjoubert, NJ born and raised. I'm just outside of Philly.

... which reminds me of another license plate I see frequently since the owner lives near my mother: YO DON

__________
Veni, Vidi, Visa: I came, I saw, I charged it.

Saw an interesting one this morning.

SERNDPT
Serendipity?
Am curious as to how he acquired the lexus.

Perhaps this person's wealth and success was happened upon accidentally? Or maybe they're just a fan of the movie.

I wish that kind of wealth and success would fall into MY lap! [bluegreedy]

2 more on the way home yesterday.

2 DA LK
To the lake!! Aptly put onto a large truck with a large towing hitch.

SPDGTKT
Speeding ticket? on an Envoy?
Either he likes to go too fast and gets lots of tickets, or perhaps thinks his Envoy means he is allowed to speed?

SPDGTKT - He's just asking for one, isn't he? That's like an invitation to the police to pull him over.

At this site you can see what your vanity plates would look like as well as availability. Assuming you live in Utah of course. Not sure what rules apply to licensing your sled Santa.

[small]Sometimes you gotta leave your zone of safety. You have to manufacture Inspirado. You gotta get out of the apartment. You've got to run with the wolves. You've got to dive into the ocean and fight with the sharks. Or just treat yourself to a delicious hot fudge sundae........ with nuts. - Jack Black[/small]

I just saw this plate on a Honoda CRV on the way back from lunch:

43MPHDOG

A greyhound fan, I'd guess?

Or, as a guy in the car with me suggested, it could mean 43 MegaPixel Hotdog.

On Gordon Ramsey's show, one of the restaurant owners he was helping had got a business going down the pan and had just bought a brand new BMW M3 with the plate A16HEF !!!

<Do I need A Signature or will an X do?>

I just took my 3 kids to college. I found a rather interesting assortment of plates:
SCRL1T on a red convertible.
FOLLOME also on a red convertible.
ALCHEM3 on a Illinois plate. How many alchemists are there in Illinois?
BLO UWAY on a blue convertible. We passed this car.
DUUUUUK on a Virginia James Madison University (JMU) plate. You have to know JMU to understand this one.
[hide]JMU's mascot is a bulldog named Duke[/hide]
FANNNNN on a Virginia (Washington) Redskins plate.
LTL CO2 on a hybrid card.
CR81V1 on a CRV. I can't figure this one out.
TV FREE on a car covered with political stickers.
OBX STR. My wife says this one stands for Outer Banks Star. (OBX stands for Outer Banks, North Carolina.)

That reminds of one I saw over the long weekend.

CR8N LAW - I believe this was on a BMW (or Mercedes, or some other expensive car)...perhaps driven by a member of some legislative body?
