Ok...to continue in a new thread...

PHEWISH

Anyone have ideas on this one?
I think it's "Pfff...You wish!"
It's probably on an expensive car...

--Jim

I interpreted it as "Thanks AOL", but I couldn't come up with any reason why. It was on a rather nice BMW with no additional clues as to its story.

I was thinking "Thanks..." as well, but the first word that came to mind after that wasn't "AOL" [bigsmile]

Yesterday I saw "BUT DAD" on a Bronco. Couldn't see the driver, either it's a guy with teenagers or a spoiled kid that knows who to complain to.

It's better to have loved and lost than live with the idiot for the rest of your life.

Longest drive home yesterday for the two weeks that section of construction has been going.
Saw a few more.
MARTIN (I have a coworker named Martin, mentioned this to him, and he actually tried to get it, but of course, it was taken)
300RITZ
EMH (does this have something to do with emergency medical something?)
THAYER
MONKEY1
BJJR (considering I saw AJSR last week, this is pretty funny)
JAYK
and lastly, REHILL

I have be approaching done with finding new vanity plates on this stretch of the freeway right? I mean, they will run out sooner or later. They just gotta.

Chuck Norris is the reason Waldo is hiding.

My kids call me "But(t) Dad" (as a reference to the movie Jack Frost) just to tease me.

Saw DRWS A4 last night.
I will give you a hint, it was on an Audi ...

Chuck Norris is the reason Waldo is hiding.

DRWS A4 - An Audi A4 owned by a Doctor whose last name starts with a 'W'?

Heh.
I actually interpreted it as Drew's A4.
It could be Dr W's.
The world may never know.

Or maybe somebody was playing poker and drew an Ace and a 4 to win the car. ;-)

Or maybe Drew has gained a few pounds, lost some hair, and he's not a 10 anymore...

@jsteph
Nice!
As funny as that would be, I still have to assume it is meant as A4 for being on an A4. =)
However, your explanation if the most humorous so far.

~
Chuck Norris is the reason Waldo is hiding.

@jsteph,

I must be thick, b/c I just don't get it. Are you referring to A4 as some other notation to come up with being 40 or something? Just curious.

I'll probably be embarrassed when shown how simple it is. [BLUSH]

DRWS A4
->
Drew's a four
->
Drew is a four

And, according to this interpretation, has low self esteem. Or maybe the car belongs to an ex-wife.

I saw 3 on the drive home yesterday.

DODGERS - Either a fan of the baseball team, or watches too many Daffy Duck cartoons (Duck Dodgers in the 24 1/2th century).

MOM IOU1 - On a Mercedes...I wish my Mom would buy me a Mercedes!

VIJAYA - I'm hoping it's an Indian surname and not a nickname for a part of the female anatomy.

Saw another one during my lunch break.

C C U E (with a space between each letter) - This was on a Pontiac Vibe.

Possibilities that come to mind...
Seek You
See Cue (Billiards enthusiast or actor/actress)

The spaces threw me off a bit. Having a space between each letter might mean the letters are not supposed to form words.

It could have been a person with the initials C.Q. being creative.
