Hello everyone!
I dont see an Exchange agent option on the compatibility matrix page of BASB 11.5 Linux server. Is it not possible to backup Exchange with a BASB Linux server? Thanks in advance!
Best regards, Laszlo
I was working with BE 10 to save data from a Netware 6 File Server and the result was 2 corrupted NSS volume. Only pool rebuild helped! I was furious and really frustrated. What does BE Netware Remote Agent, why this happens? The pool contains 2 volumes, one volume has the same name as the pool...
Thanks Justin! The resolution was to delete the OFM directory and files from the Netware System and reinstall from the latest Windows StBernard Open File Manager. The Windows OFM is able to install to remote computers and to start/stop remote services. Now my OFM.NLM version is 94.01.07...
After running Bestart on Netware, Open file modules looks like loading OK, but when I sarch them with the modules command, they are not really loaded. There is no real error message. I'm able to load the ofmham.ham and ofmcdm.cdm manually, but not the ofm.nlm. Is there a log file for the Open...
Thanks a lot for your help! The disk space is not enough to hold 1 week backup. A Post Job script (an ncf file) will automatically delete the oldest directory.
Username/Password is for normal network authentication. The Session Password protects backup sessions and files from unauthorized access. When backup was taken with session password, you have to use the same password to be able to restore it. For a basic restore process, dont use session pass.
To start type "uagent start". By the way after installing the agent, it is started automatically. Check the status with the "uagent status" command. My idea is to open the firewall on the Linux box. Linux Agent will listen on TCP and UDP ports 6051 by default.
Rename Tsa600.nlm to Tsa600.old to solve this. If you run into speed problems using TSAFS, try decreasing your NSS cachebalance to free up more memory for TSAFS. (Not my own idea, is from Novell Discussion Server)
I added permission to Windows directory, but issue still exists. When a job is finished, canceled or failed and I right click on it, menu points (modify, reschedule, delete, ready/hold) are greyed out. The Netware BAB is a Live Trial with 12 days left. Is there a limitation in trial version?
I have a BAB 11.1 server running on Netware. The Manager is on a windows machine. I'm able to add new jobs to the queue, but unable to modify (reschedule, delete) them later. Why? Any help is appreciated!

I would like to restore a GroupWise Post Office to another location, because not enough free space on the GW server. Is it possible to config the GWTSA.NCF /HOME parameter for a remote restore area? (Netware 6, BAB Netware 11.1, GW 6.5)
There are three options, for the destination of a backup job: Group, Media Pool or Media. What is the destination in your job? If a media pool, try to assign media to the scratch set!
