    I'm guessing that these are 1000MB Nic cards. If so, try changing the link speed down to 100MB Full Duplex. I've noticed that if your using CAT5 or even CAT5e on a 1GB Nic card sometimes you might have connection issues..... regards Jim

    I need more info on how your network is setup. why does the server not connect to the Internet via your T1? what type of router are you using for your T1? are you using any type of firewall software? do you access the Internet through a Proxy Server? without this info, their is no way I can...

    accessing client settings

    try creating a new admin account to log into the admin view. I used the same name and password as my Domain Admin account. I ran into this problem when I started using Active Directory on my network. this worked for me, hopefully it will work for you.

    You might have to download an update from Microsoft to activate the built in Cals on your Win2000 and XP machines. Are you having connection issues with the Win98 machines as well? I had some connection issues like this when I originally setup TS on Windows 2000 Server with XP Machines...

    Forget about SUS. Download freeware called HFNetChkPro4 from www.shavlik.com. You have more options in downloading security patches and updates. Plus it works with NT,2000, and XP. You also do not need to install a client agent on your local computers... Good Luck
