We have a windows 2000 server that has never had a problem, but starting two days ago there is one website that we are not able to get to from any computer in our domain except the server. We have a T1 and a cable line, all the domain users use the T1 and can not get to the site, i use the cable and can get to it just fine. I have ran a "netdiag /v" and everything looks fine. My boss and i are stumped since we know that we have not changed anything and it was working fine last week. Does anyone else have any suggestions to check out?
Thanks,
Ryan

I need more info on how your network is setup. why does the server not connect to the Internet via your T1? what type of router are you using for your T1? are you using any type of firewall software? do you access the Internet through a Proxy Server? without this info, their is no way I can point you in the right direction.

Regards
Jim

Sorry bout that:
The servers do connect throught the T1 throught a Sonicwall Firewall and a cisco 2600 router. No settings on the firewall or the router have been changed for quite some time. The computers in question do not have SP2 installed so they do not have their own firewall. We do not have a Proxy server set up. Let me know if you need more info.

rye,

try to connect to the website via ip address, if you can then its most likely a dns problem.

next thing i would do is run a tracert to the ip address of the website from your server, then do the same from a workstation and compare the results. maybe even post them here
