Exch Migration Wizard - You have not selected valid Groupwise doma

Hi Terry and Provogeek, Thank you for your help - it was a permissions problem! I had asked the administrators of the Groupwise box to grant the migration account the correct permissions but they had not granted this account any permissions on the subdirectories in the domain folder. So...

Groupwise --> Exchange 03 migration - help appreciated

Hi Andreh, Thanks for the reply - I actually found the problem. I did not have the appropriate permissions on the GW Domain folder, so that the relevant folders did not appear. See, the company I'm working for do not own/operate the GW box (we're migrating away from them after sharing the...

Exch Migration Wizard - You have not selected valid Groupwise doma

Dear all, I'm currently planning for a Groupwise 6.0 to Exchange 2003 migration. I have an Exchange 2003 SP2 box running as the production box. I have also installed a bridgehead Exchange server that I'll be running the migration on and which has the Groupwise connector on it. I have...

    Very Strange with DHCP.

Give the machine a static IP, then run: ipconfig /all from the command line and post the results here. Then, use a machine to obtain a dynamic IP, then run: ipconfig /all from the command line again. Also post the results there. I think it's a configuration issue with your scope.

Use groupwise to relay mail for 'domain'.com

Sorry about the structuring of the original question. I think it would be simple to do what I'm asking as it's part of the SMTP server standards. The only issue is that I've never administered Groupwise and have no idea where to begin. What I want to do is have inbound mail for domain...

Use groupwise to relay mail for 'domain'.com

Hello all, I'd like to use Groupwise to relay emails for a specific recipient domain to the IP address of a Domino machine. The situation is this: We have one external IP address. w.x.y.z. We're running the network behind a Watchguard firewall with NAT, and currently have a Groupwise box (with...

Hyperlink to Word template - from Word document

Hello everyone, I'm kind of stuck in a rut, and hoping there's a solution :) Here's the situation: I want to create an index of our company's set of controlled documents and custom templates. I'd like to create the index in MS Word or even MS Excel. Our existing templates use prompts and...

Windows 2000 Pro or XP Pro

Howdy all, Some very good points raised, especially by abrannon. I didn't think of that one. If you do purchase XP Pro licences, you can install 2K with it, then upgrade to XP if necessary in future. However it can't be done with OEM licences, which shouldn't be an issue in your case. If you...

Windows 2000 Pro or XP Pro

Hi Eric, From my experiences with both 2000 and XP, I would definately go for Windows 2000. * XP installs with many uneccesary services a flash * XP has a flash, heavy interface that does nothing more but chew up RAM * Many drivers written for XP are terrible (many seem to be a work in...

    Citrix thru VPN connection problems

Howdy PPL, Thanks for your info and replies. As yet I still haven't found a solution, yet I have noticed that Windows 9x clients receive a subnet mask of 255.0.0.0 and Windows NT/2K/XP clients receive a subnet mask of 255.255.255.255. Note that our network uses class A IP address: 10.1.x.y and...

    Citrix thru VPN connection problems

Hi Traver, Thanks for the help and info. I have played around with the MTU after seeing your reply. I've tried several different sizes after seeing some recommendations around on the internet. So far this has not fixed the problem, yet I may have to toy with it some more. However, one program...

    Citrix thru VPN connection problems

Howdy everyone, I have searched through the forum for this issue and it seems that someone may have had the problem before. I was wondering if anyone had solved it or could shed some light on my problem: I have some users connecting from remote locations to the company network via a Watchguard...

Ok, I found an older post regarding

Howdy symbiotic. Have you tried the smbmount command? I use smbmount to connect to all of my windows shares. Use the syntax: [root@xxxx]# smbmount //servername/sharename /home/jsmith/backup -o username=administrator, password=password I'm not exactly sure of the syntax, I've got mine in a...
